  A great option to stay in Cappadocia away from the main cities. The staff is 5*, you name it and you get it. But it's not an hotel more a Guest House, so you cannot expect hotel facilities. Breakfast fells like grandma house, with all nice homemade bread. The view to the Castle is fantastic.   Awesome hotel with great view of Castle!

  Awesome hotel with great view of Castle! The rooms are pretty clean and spacious with autontic decorations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations about where to eat and visit, what activities to do, and they arranged shuttles to airport for us. The hotel is extremely modern and has fancy looking. We took many Instagram worthy photos which I shared in my social media and got amazing feedbacks. The Turkish breakfast was pretty delicious and we were quiet satisfied with it. Mr. Safak was our tour guide and he showed us all the city. He explained us the history of the city and took our photos in the most popular places.He is very enjoyable person with full of joks! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an unforgettable vacation and memories. I would like to thanks to Mr. Safak, Emin, and Tayfun for everything and making my Cappadocia trip this much excited and amazing!   Great location and delicious breakfas!

  We stayed 2 nights for the ballon flight. They organise everything for us. The Manager of the hotel takes care very much of the guests. The breakfast is very large and consists of diverse food. You will not find cheaper hotel in this quality in Cappadocia.   Very horrible staff extremely unfriendly The heater in the room only had 2 setting either oven hot or extremely cold There was a problem with the hot water A lot of noises after midnight And they called an hour before checking out time to ask us to leave because the second guest is coming A lot or great places in cappadocia This is definitely not one of them Mustafa GÜDEROĞLU, Genel Müdür at Mahzen Cave Hotel, responded to this review Hi sir, first of all, this comment has upset us a lot. Because cave rooms do not have air conditioning and spoil the natural texture. Our hotel has central heating system. We have informed you about this.I was told that when your room cools down, you need to turn on the hot button again. As the procedure, the check-out time is reminded 15 minutes before. Because we're full every day. We gave you our last room. As for the noise issue, it was caused by guests entering late at night. You're right about that. They could have been quieter. We're sorry about this.There's something else we want you to know.We do not accept foreign guests from outside in the guest rooms. But you can meet in the lobby. It was very ugly of you to write this bad review because you weren't allowed an outside guest. We never treat our guests unkind. Moreover, we made a discount because you like the hotel very much. Your deliberate comment will never reduce our motivation.Best regards.

  Great hotel in every way

  What a great place to stay and discover the area. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The cafe and restaurant area is welcoming and warm - and we really enjoyed the food which was just delicious. I really enjoyed interacting with the staff, they really seem happy to work here! We loved sitting in the cafe at night and playing cards. Definitely recommended.
