    Just what we wanted.

    On arrival at Kayseri airport we were met by Huseyin and transported to Sota, where were warmly greeted by the owner Nil. Our room - The Suite, was exactly what we were hoping it would be - a traditional cave room. Nil gave us a guided tour, and all the rooms we saw looked lovely. The breakfast was outstanding, a wide selection of traditional Turkish food, backed up by breads, cereals, and fresh cakes. Also freshly cooked Omelettes are also on offer.You are looked after at breakfast time by two lovely ladies Gül and Hibe. In the evenings Yunus is there throughout for anything you might need, such as a nightcap!Nil guided us throughout our stay, she is extremely knowledgeable, and provided daily routes to explore the region properly. Again we used Huseyin, through Nil, for our daily trips. What a lovely helpful man. Finally we were not disappointed with the restaurants suggested by Nil.

    Super atmospheric with a welcoming and gracious hostess. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing. Five stars isn’t enough! Very well situated with a lovely view. I even got to see a balloon land on the ridge across the valley.

    Great and unique place ! A bit of paradise !!! Yunus, Nil and the staff are very kind and take great care of you. The location is perfect. The hotel is a diamond in Capadoccia.

    My boyfriend and I stayed at SOTA for 3 nights. Absolutely loved our stay at SOTA Cappadocia. From the moment we booked, the experience was seamless and warm, thanks to the incredible owner, Nil, who went above and beyond to make our trip unforgettable. She personally helped us with airport transfers, restaurant reservations, and even curated guided tours tailored to our interests. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made all the difference. The staff were equally amazing always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything we needed.The hotel itself is stunning, stylish, intimate, and thoughtfully designed, blending modern comfort with traditional charm. Every morning we were treated to an incredible homemade breakfast, featuring locally sourced ingredients and freshly prepared dishes that were both delicious and beautifully presented. It was honestly one of the best breakfasts we had in Turkey.If you're visiting Cappadocia and want a place that feels like home with five-star service and charm, SOTA is the place to be. We would absolutely stay here again and can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Nil and team, for making our stay so special!

    5 stars is not enough for this amazing place. The hotel is stunning, carved into the cliff and beautifully renovated, the view from the terrace at the top is amazing.Nil and her team took incredible care of us, breakfasts are freshly prepared every day and offer a great selection. Nil helped us to plan our itinerary every day, giving us tips on where to go, where to eat and sharing some of the history of the region with us. ‘Nil’ is like a secret password to some of the best places and everywhere we went people knew her.A huge thank you to Nil and her team, we cannot recommend this place highly enoughKerry and Andy x
