    This hotel is genuinely underrated — often overlooked in favor of the pricier, Instagram-famous spots — yet it offers some of the most breathtaking views in Cappadocia. Watching the balloons rise at dawn and the sun wash over the off-white cave buildings in the morning light.The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, perfectly blending authenticity with modern convenience. The hosts are exceptionally warm and attentive — they went out of their way to make everything effortless. They helped me arrange transport, book tours, all at prices far more reasonable than what I found on major travel platforms like Viator.The food was fresh and delicious, and every request was handled promptly with genuine hospitality. I’ve shared photos I personally took of the hotel and its stunning views — if you’re planning a trip to Cappadocia, don’t overlook this hidden gem. It captures the true essence of the region without the noise or inflated prices.

    I cannot rate our stay highly enough, we had the most magical time here. The hotel is stunning, with a wonderful selection of traditional cave and stone rooms. The views from both the breakfast terrace and rooftop took our breath away each and every day. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming giving it such a homely feel. Particularly Ange the owner being from Australia made communication and arranging tours etc a breeze. Her warm and bubbly personality was delightful and infectious. Shout out to her husband Yilmaz and his great restaurant Fat Boys for amazing food. If you're looking for a true Goreme experience start here!

    The Perfect Flavor for Cappadocia!

    The location of Hotel Taskonak is one of its best features! It's nestled on a hill in the heart of Goreme amongst other picturesque dwellings and is within easy walking distance to the downtown area. Angela, the host, is a delight and was able to book us a balloon flight and Green Tour that fit our schedules perfectly! The breakfast served was outstanding and the patio offered a perfect setting for eating, watching balloon flights, or just relaxing. Airport pickups and drop offs were also handled skillfully by Angela. I would not hesitate to book this delightful accommodation again on a return trip to Cappadocia.

    An excellent place to stay. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. Angela, the Manager, was fantastic and really worked hard to make sure all of the guests had a good time. Rooms are well appointed with great showers and were warm in the cooler evenings. Breakfast was fabulous, with so much choice. I would throughly recommend staying here.     Amazing hotel in Goreme

    Amazing hotel with very clean and beautiful rooms! It is located close to the center of Goreme and has an amazing terrace for breakfast and overlooking the hot aur balloon flights! The owners love to have a chat with the guests and are very helpful and kind, I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Breakfast is also delicious!
