Relaxing stay in a charming town

    rating01 Nov 2025

We absolutely loved our time at this property. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner of the property shared many tips around town. He also helped us book transfers and a hot air balloon ride during our stay. Restaurant recommendations were spot on.The property itself is a very quaint, family-run property. Each piece of decor seems to have some family history. The roof was a great place to view balloons taking off in the early morning. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day fully fueled. vista, at Vista Cave Hotel, responded to this review Thank you wery much hope oll the best for you

Absolutely amazing stay at Vista Cave! The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming — they made us feel right at home. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the people, the stunning views, and the delicious food. Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Thank you for such a special experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Şenol A koç, İşletme Sahibi at Vista Cave Hotel, responded to this review Dear GuestThank you for your kind words and ratings We really appreciate them. From Fantastic to FAILURE

    rating03 Jun 2025

I booked the Vista Cave Hotel off a recommendation from a colleague. My stay started out great. The check-in experience was pleasant and I thought this was going to be a wonderful stay……that is until my last night when I had a friend VISIT for about an hour. Yes, I said VISIT. They did not stay the night nor had plans to. Once during our visit, around 10:30pm, the owner had one of the hotel associates knock on my door to ask when I was leaving in the morning. I thought this was odd to be asking such a question at that time of night. Although this was rude, unnecessary, and late, I told them around 7am. My friend then left and few moments later, around 11:45pm, I hear ANOTHER knock on my door. The same hotel worker handed me his phone to speak with the owner. The owner had been sitting at home, late at night with nothing else apparently to do, watching the cameras to see who came and went. He FLIPPED OUT on me asking why I didn’t check with reception (on the next floor up) to have someone in my room. I told him, “I didn’t think it was necessary for someone to VISIT, not stay the night.” I told him I travel the world, and I had never had anyone react the way he did for a visitor. He said he didn’t care about the rest of the world, and this was “rude” in his country. I again stressed to him my friend had been VISITING, not staying. He told me, “I know, I watched them leave!” Although I felt it was completely unnecessary for the late night interruptions, and even with the understanding they were just visiting, I apologized. Frazzled, he then hung up the phone on me. Had the owner not unnecessarily flipped out, I would’ve left this hotel a good review. Breakfast was mediocre. My room was clean. However, I will never stay here again, and I advise you not to if there’s a chance you may have a friend visit for an hour or so. Apparently, the owner has nothing better to do than sit at home and watch cameras to see who comes and goes room by room, and chastise his guests if they have a visitor over for an hour. I don’t know if the owner has some prejudices, preconceived notions, or what, but I can’t understand why a guest having a friend over for a short time enraged him. Şenol A koç, İşletme Sahibi at Vista Cave Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your comment. We would like to clarify the events that you have described and the system in Turkiye that we are legally obligated to abide. In reference to your comment, " Apparently, the owner has nothing better to do than sit at home and watch cameras to see who comes and goes..." our Night Receptionist informed us that there was an unregistered visitor in the hotel, whom he noticed from the security camera system in the hotel reception. This is why the owner called you at 11.45pm as our Night Receptionist doesn't speak fluent English and therefore wouldn't have been able to explain the situation to you properly. The owner only saw your friend leave as he checked the security camera footage before speaking with you so that there was no misunderstanding of the situation on our behalf. In Turkiye all hotels are obliged to send the Jandarma (Gendarmerie of the Ministry of the Interior) the passport numbers of everyone who is at the hotel at any given time, whether they are staying or not. This is a security matter, in case of accident, death, natural disasters, national security, etc and carries heavy penalties for us if we do not do so. We are perfectly happy for our guests to have their friends visit, but in Turkiye the hotel reception needs to be informed first as we are accountable and this is the system that we have to work under. We appreciate that this may be different in other countries. Incidentally, at 10.30pm, our night receptionist asked you what time you were leaving in the morning as he knew you were leaving before breakfast and it is our usual practise, as a courtesy, to provide a take away breakfast for our eariy check out guests. We thank your friend for recommending us to you and are happy that they had a positive experience with us, despite the "mediocre breakfast and unpleasant owner". Finally, far from having "some prejudices, preconceived notions, or what..." we are proud to have welcomed many different cultures, ethnicities and people to our hotel in the 10 years that we have been operating. We wish you well.

    Highly recommended

    rating01 Jun 2025

Highly recommend to stay here. The staff / owners are so friendly & helpful. The cave rooms are beautiful, and the views of the balloons in the morning is amazing. Parking was limited when we arrived (but it was a public holiday in Turkey, otherwise I think it would be fine). The staff helped me find a spot and guided me in to park. After the bank holiday, parking was not a problem. The guys also got up at 3.30am when we were leaving for our balloon ride, to ensure we were awake in time for our pick up. The hospitality here was amazing. I did think Breakfast was limited options, and they could do something more to watch the balloons going up in the early morning. But I still highly recommend staying here. Şenol A koç, İşletme Sahibi at Vista Cave Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your kind words and ratings We really appreciate them. The owner Mr Senol was very helpful and very friendly. We felt really safe as he guided us and managed all our tours and transfers. He suggested restaurants which were really worth it and he gave us discounts. He is a very kind and honest person. All the other staffs were very good and accommodating. The place was so good, clean and all the attention to details was very good. Place was being cleaned every day and supplies being replenished everyday. The breakfast was very thought off and was very good. The place was just couple of minutes away from shops and really. We will definitely be back here ❤️❤️❤️ Şenol A koç, İşletme Sahibi at Vista Cave Hotel, responded to this review Dear GuestThank you for your kind words and ratings We really appreciate them.
