Located in the ancient village of Ürgüp, in the middle of Cappadocia's magical landscape, the hotel is ideally positioned for exploring the region. Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 30 rooms, including 7 suites and 20 double rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Comfortable cave room

    A beautiful and comfortable stay in a cave room with all mod cons. Our room was beautiful, well appointed with a modern bathroom. Breakfast is a large affair with warm items such as eggs, pancakes, and potatoes, as well as cheese, meats, bread and many delicious honeys. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended

    The hotel could so easily have been brilliant but has too many issues that need addressing. Our stay was a post cruise add on, organised by Viking. Our first issue was the provided set evening meal which frankly was of such low standard and quality that the hotel should have been ashamed, obviously created with the lowest cost as possible as the objective. Our second issue was the high heat in the room which was not controllable, the thermostat control appeared to make no difference, so I presume it was broken. We slept with the outside door wide open. Third issue was the lack of handrails on some of the steep sets of steps which could also be slippy. This needs addressing. The excuse we heard that they were difficult to fit is not good enough, it is up to the hotel to find away before someone has a serious accident. Other complaints were minor, cracked tiles here and there in the bathroom and uncomfortable seating in the lounge area. On the positive side the experience of staying in the complex is unique and we are certainly glad we did. The room was interesting and the bathroom very well set out with a good strong shower. We found the breakfast buffet to be comprehensive and to a fair standard. To sum up we are glad we stayed but there are too many issues to come again, which is a great shame as this hotel really could be a gem.

    We stayed in a deluxe cave room. It was interesting and unique but was a very long way from the Lux experience we were expecting based on price and website.Although these rooms are quite unique, they are not unique in Cappadocia. Many similar properties have the same type of offering.These rooms are extremely noisy, dark and poorly ventilated. There are parts of the room that have a very low ceiling so expect to bang your head on the rock a few times at night.Noise from above and adjacent rooms carries through very loudly. If you have inconsiderate guests staying near you, you won’t get much sleep. The staff are no better. They are rude and inconsiderate. We got woken up multiple times each night around midnight by loud voices outside our door. These were night staff escorting late arriving guests to nearby rooms. We politely asked them to be quiet and then they started to argue with us.As many other reviewers have commented, the breakfast arrangement are pathetic. I was told that this is because people are coming back from balloon flights at a similar time. So after many many years of this they still don’t know what they are doing!Prices at the bar are 5 star luxury resort prices. But service is 3 star. They are a large hotel with many staff and quite a few of them are very rude, disinterested and poorly trained.Pick somewhere else to stay.

    Overrated hotel but the exterior cave views are priceless

    We were really looking forward to staying at this hotel, but we’re very disappointed. The staff were rude and barely spoke English. We didn’t have any cold water in our room and the sewage smell coming up from the bathroom sink was overwhelming. The food served at breakfast was definitely not catered to the North American and Australian taste, but I found it interesting. Large tour groups come through this hotel and the staff seems to cater to them, ignoring the “a la carte” customers (their phrase). But the key problem is this place is that it is virtually inaccessible for people with mobility issues. That being said, this hotel was an amazing place on the outside!
