  Very Very tired Hotel

  I am going to be brutally honest. The hotel is very very tired its needs a total refurbishment throughout. The description and amenities that were described on the hotel ad, were i would say very incorrect and misleading. No Internet, No satellite TV (the tv's were about 30 years old) No family room/smoking room was used to put all junk in and looks like staff bikes. No poolside cafe. No mini bar in room actually no bar in the hotel at all, all the food and drinks came from a restaurant at the edge of the beach that they say were connected. I had no balcony in room 214 as the fire escape was attached. Holes in the wall filled with rolled up newspaper or just left. There was 2 pipes that run down the hotel rooms on the outside pool area that dripped continually and were very dangerous as it was where you come out to the pool area and was never dried or anything done about it. The breakfast area was very very basic and the drip tray for the hot water was in a state of filth the whole stay. It was very basic, the turkish breakfast was just that nothing else. There were no remote so the room had to go search rooms to get one, then it had no back on it Sellotape was used only bbc news. My hairdryer was tied up on a towel hook.my toilet roll holder kept falling off the wall, the shower hose showered the wall more than me ! On a positive noteThe location of the hotel was fantastic right on the beach, loads of bars, restaurants and shops. Easy access to bus and water taxis to get everywhere. The area is great can't fault that at all, the outside of the hotel was clean and looked good. The pool area was clean and well maintained. The staff were very nice. I would say the area is very turkish so dont expect loads of English bars, you are in turkey !! I would definatly go back to calis beach ....back to area hotel??? If I had known about the place before I booked it I would have had second thoughts, but it is a budget hotel and you can ask for sea view rooms or side pool rooms which have a nice views, dont get room 214 and don't expect much, you get what you pay for, but you are going to have to take all above on board .

  The hotel has a great location, right on the sea front, easy walking distance to lots of restaurants, and all the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The rooms are dated, but clean. Towels were changed often (probably too often) but sometimes all were changed, other days just one. There seemed to be no reason behind it.Major downsides were: there is no wi fi in the rooms.the breakfast is the same everyday which became very tired in the second week. Efes beer in the bar was the most expensive in Calis, but the location doesn't merit this. This is a cheap and cheerful hotel. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

  Absolute little belter, of a cheap basic hotel.Right on the front and centre of calis. As stated on previous reviews, sea view room is a must , I arrived late the first night, was very disappointed in the morning with my view of the empty run down hotel at the back of our hotel. After a chat with reception, and £40 more I got upgraded to a sea facing room, was definitely definitely worth the money. Overall my 5 night stay cost £178 which for the location is amazing. The hotel is basic , a little dated perhaps, but spotless , with new air-conditioning in the rooms. The staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast fills a gap but not too good tbh, but for the price I wasn't going to moan. The bar is expensive, 200 tl for a bottle of efes which at the min is £4 !! You can get a beer from numoures restaurants/bars nearby for 100tl. Also a full English for around 300tl. The restaurant doesn't allow food or drinks not purchased from the hotel around the pool/bar area. So be prepared to pay more or be a bit sneaky 😉. The pool area is spotless and never a problem getting a lounger, some of which do need updating tbh. Cleaners in room daily and are really good. I'd definitely book here again for the money. Enjoyed my stay very much.

  This was the second stay at the area for me and ive recently booked there again for next year. The hotel is basic but has everything you need from wifi to hairdryers. They are cleaned everyday and the staff are very friendly. The pool is amazing and there's always plenty of sunbeds available. The pool area is spacious so you don't feel crammed in. All in all great experience everytime I go never have any problems with the hotel.
