Location

This hotel is located approximately 100 m from the beach of Calis. Fethiye is roughly 4 km from the hotel. Shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel. It is 3 km to Fetiye and the transfer time to Dalaman airport is around 50 minutes.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 92 rooms located in two 3-storey buildings. The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Guests can browse a number of shops, including a supermarket.     Wonderful two weeks at the Oykun

    Had a wonderful two weeks at the Oykun hotel in May.All staff were friendly and helpful, from the front desk and bar/restaurant staff to the cleaning ladies who despite limited English always smiled and said hello! Rooms cleaned every day except sunday (a well deserved day off!) Rooms basic but spacious enough, comfortable double bed, sofa/sofa bed, small balcony but room to sit out of tou want too. Wardrobe with lots of hangers!Breakfast always a good choice no matter what time you made it down, fresh omelette, fried eggs or pancakes on rotation, toast, yoghurt, fruit, various hot options, salad and meats, even cakes! Location was spot on, far enough back from the main strip to be quiet, but only a 5 min walk away (if that). We had Rooms in the second block so no road noise. Some noisy and somewhat inconsiderate guests towards the end of our stay as it got busier but not the hotels fault and it wasn't as bad as I have experienced previously in other hotels!Two pools so plenty of sunbeds. Bar open for drinks till late and food served till 5pm which was always tasty when we had lunch there.Special thanks to Goldie and mini Goldie who could not have been more friendly and helpfulTips: Hotel is cash only for everything!Have a turkish bath and scrub on site, you wont regret it.Fridge, kettle and safe all extra cost but worth having.Laundry service on site (wash dry and iron) £10 per carrier bag.

    Another fantastic experience at the Oykun. The staff are excellent and go out of their way to help you. The receptionists are so friendly and helpful. The cleaners were really nice and even with the language barrier were polite and cheerful. My room was cleaned everyday apart from Sundays. ( a well deserved day off for the cleaners)

    An excellent stay from start to finish.I knew this would be an enjoyable stay from check in. The two ladies on reception make you feel so welcome that you instantly feel put at ease. The rooms are clean and the air conditioning is good. Your room is cleaned everyday except Sunday (they will if requested) the cleaning staff work so hard on your room and communal areas aswell. I especially enjoyed the breakfast so much fresh choice and little changes everyday so you dont get bored. The bar staff are friendly and helpful and the bar is reasonably priced. They have many regulars that return year after year so it like joining a little community. I could not recommend this place enough and have already booked to come back next year.

    Thankyou to Goldie and all the team for a great stay. This year there are a few new faces on the staff- some wonderful young people who greeted me with a smile and always a friendly word and helpful disposition. The Hotel has two lovely pools spotlessly clean and welcoming. The location is great with a short stroll to the water taxi or Dolmus and the breakfasts offer plenty of choice. Well done Oykun & Thankyou. Sheila.

    Avoid this place, yes its cheap, no way its 3 star, on arrival reception wanted to keep our passports, no way. There is an extra charge for a kettle, fridge and safe, rip off. Room was small and drab. Breakfast area not very good, old plastic beakers for the orange drink, why not use glasses? Plates and cups not very clean. Only a bottom sheet on the bed and a old itchy blanket. Other people in the hotel very loud at night outside, thin walls between the rooms. We left after one night and went to a 5 star inclusive hotel instead. oykun hotel, Owner at Oykun Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your comments but we were told by yourself that you were going to stay at a friends for a few days. If you had actually addressed the issues we might have been able to rectify your complaints. but you did not complain anything to reception.We are a 3 star hotel and it’s common practice for a lot of the smaller hotels to keep passports overnight to check in if you do not accept this we will not have the passport. We don’t want to keep customers waiting around in the reception whilst we take document numbers as per the law. The charge for the kettles etc is normal practice for the hotel and reflected in the cost to stay at our hotel.Some of the 3 star hotel in the area charge for aircon also but we do not.
