    This is the worst hotel I have stayed in. Booked 2 nights and I left after1. The place is not clean I had four dead cockroaches in my room. Went to bed that night and had one buzzing. I got no sleep the fridge was black. It really needs a good clean. I wasn’t going down for breakfast after the seeing this. Twice I asked for my room to be cleaned and the cockroaches to be removed but it never was. I just packed my bag and left. Nobody should have to sleep in these conditions. The pictures are very old, looks nothing like this now

    Poor experience and customer service

    Had booked for just one night, thankfully, and had booked a room with garden and pool views. When we arrived we were taken to a dark, backroom basement dungeon. It has one barred window with piles of rubbish on the outside and looking out to a brick wall. Room was dirty, Aircon was noisy, bedside lights didn't work, electrics looked dodgy, toilet was moving about as was the tap on the sink. Complained to owner who said the room was should have had are all busy and that we were only there for one night, as though it shouldn't matter about the room. Definitely avoid as you might not get what you expect.

    The people working here have very limited English,almost none. Bar has very little choice if drinks. Evening meal is always the same salad with chicken, fish that tasted like chicken or similar. We asked them to book 2 trips for us. One trip was the wrong one and they never booked the 2nf trip. No brochures to look at for places to visit. Not allowed to buy water from the shop and take to your room. No lift and only the bedrooms have air-conditioning. Told them 4 times the hairdryer didn't work properly and wires were sticking out in the bathroom next to the sink, whole toilet moved off the floor, shower was dirty, open windows on stairs which children could easily fall out of, lumpy bed, no fruit juice or water at breakfast, etc etc

    Clean and Tidy and Friendly Staff

    We stayed at Vanilla hotel for 2 nights. We found the staff very helpful (especially the owner’s daughter) as she helped in getting our luggage back which was misplaced by the paragliding company, she told us to relax and calm down as we were extremely worried because we had no clothes with us other than the ones which we were wearing and assured us that we will get the luggage back in an hour or so which we did. The rooms were clean and tidy. The breakfast was quite reasonable and the pool area was also a delight to watch.The little things which bothered me a bit were that there was no locker in the room and we had to pay extra 10 lira per day to use the locker which was on the ground floor. The rooms were clean and spacious but I couldn’t find any tissue or dustbin in the room (although they were in the bathroom) but not in the room.Overall I would rate the hotel 7.5 out of 10.
