  Cheapest Hotel close to Hagia-Sophia Yereban-Cistern and Blue-Mosque

  Yes it 's definitely not the cleanest of places. Yes it's better to take your breakfast / all meals some other place. Staff seems friendly enough even if only a few are fluent English speakers.But you are really close to Hagia-Sophia Topcapi-Palace Blue-Mosque and 1500 year old Yereban-Cistern and only 2 tram-stops / longer walk away from the Grand Bazaar. Slightly longer walk to Galata Bridge and Sirkeci Terminali (ferry stop to asian side). Stayed for a week.

  Geographically good but that's it!

  So, on last minute, i had to book a room for 3 nights for two people.I chose this hotel just because it was not far from where we were and around Sultan Ahmed and Haiga Sofia mosquee.The shower miror was broken and all the floor was wet every time that we took shower. Plus, the shower column was partly broken.The room's air was not good at all, fortunately the air conditioner was working. There was no elevator. The people at reception talked barely English and i had to ask for everything: another blanket, wifi code, lipton! Really, beside its great location and closeness to touristic area, a lot of restaurants, shops and cafes, it has nothing more!For the price i paid, i got the minimum of quality!

  Perfect Location! Good Value!

  I reached around 2am and was checked in. The guy at night does not speak fluent English but he was really helpful and tried his best to make us comfortable. The room had a lot of mosquitoes and moths, I tried asking for insect repellant through google images and google translate but he was out of mosquito spray. I closed the windows and tucked myself in fully. There is good hot water but the shampoos are not provided, we had a bottle of shampoo and body cream, I am not sure if it belonged to someone or was kept for us. The hot water was good! The person in charge in the morning spoke fluent English and was very helpful! We got good breakfast but no tea, no tea/coffee in the room either. The place is quiet at night, but it is perfect for sight seeing the next day since it is only walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the tram. There were volunteers around that helped us with getting the tram cards, it is better to pay for the card and then recharge it instead of buying a ticket. It is very easy to get around Istanbul with the tram.Also, there are many restaurants near the hotel and walking to the Grand Bazaar is only 10 minutes. It is good to change money in the bazaar, the best and the only money exchange place where you'll get the best of rates is if you're coming from AKdeniz hotel. The bazaar is so big and has many exits and entrances, I could not find the money exchange again, but it had the best rate!

  This place was just what I was looking for- great location, quiet, simple, well priced.I arrived without a booking, and I liked the first room that I was shown so I took it.There was a huge bed, a view over a quaint street below, (I liked watching the things going on below- water pipes, backgammon, street stalls etc), a private bathroom, a little table and chair with jug to make yourself tea in morning (before venturing to the the Blue Mosque, just a minute walk away!!).It was more affordable than the private room that I'd been staying in at a hostel.The mangers were very friendly accommodating.If you want a 5 star hotel, then you will be disappointed. But if you are an independent or budget traveler who doesn't expect everything to be perfect then this is a great option. I would definitely stay here again.

  I been Istanbul meny times really i like stay this hotel because really i feel very good like my home I highly recommend it i stay this hotel maybe totally 90 day's because i come here for visit much because istanbuul very nice to see so if u really wanna cheap and clain room so that's are akdeniz hotel
