    The room and ensuite were cramped even though I was travelling alone. TV and one of the lights weren't working, which I couldn't be bothered to report. The location is good, near to the Spice Bazaar, with the main attractions walkable and public transport options nearby.Undoubtedly, the biggest selling point was the rooftop terrace where breakfast is served. I've had breakfast buffets at fancy 5 star hotels, but I don't think I've ever enjoyed breakfast more than the simple yet lovely fare served up here with views of the bustling waterside. The experience would probably be even better if the weather had been good enough to sit outside. It also serves as a restaurant in the evenings, but I didn't try that.

    Very Nice Budget Hotel in a Premium Location.

    First impressions can be misleading. We did arrive a little early, so we had to wait a few minutes for the receptionist. The stairs looked very narrow and steap, but fortunately, they had a small lift.Our room was small, but it was a budget room. It also had a bit of a view across the river to thd Galata Tower, which was nice.This hotel is in a great location very close to the new mosque and the Egyptian bazaar.Breakfast is upstairs on the restaurant terrace, which has views to die for. The breakfast spread has something for everyone, and the waiter was a really friendly and helpful guy.We also ate there one evening and no complaints either. Just be aware that a 10% service charge is included in the bill.When we checked out, they called us a taxi for IST airport at a fixed rate, which was very reasonable.The staff in the hotel were all friendly, giving me the distct impression of a family run business. If we return to Istanbul, I would definitely return so I can, without hesitation, recommend a stay here.

    The hotel is in a convenient location — a few meters away from the metro, ferries, spice bazaar, and restaurants. Take the metro to reach Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, etc. in a few minutes. Walk along the bridge to reach Galata Tower. The room is a bit small but clean. Hot shower, bidet, and hair dryer available. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. When you’re too tired to walk outside, have dinner at the terrace restaurant located on the 6th floor. The food is a bit pricey, but delicious.

    Everything was great. Especially hotel staff was very helpful and always positive and smiling. Location of hotel is really really good, it is within the walking distance to GALATA Tower, Beyoglu street, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Mosque, Misir Carshisi. Moreover, for shopping there are many souvenir shops and brand magazines, lots of restaurants nearby.The rooms have great view of Sea, the only cons is that rooms are minimal sized.

    Small rooms, but clean, cozy.Basic breakfast, but on a stunning roof terrace.VERY friendly people at the reception. All of them. Thank for your help.Very close to metro station, shops, galata bridge, restaurants. All you need is close to you.Choose Alpek. One thing which might be considered a MINUS - parking - taking in consideration that if you travelling by car the closest is next to sirkeci train station. - ankara sirkeci otoparki.
