    A vintage style Hotel which is in need of some paint work and some repairs. If you’re looking for a quiet place after exploring Istanbul then this is not the Hotel for you. Surrounding area is full of bars and pubs. Breakfast is average. Staff are friendly.

    We travel to instabul and we stayed at port hotel for 7 nights. Since we entered the room it smelled like it was closed for days. The shower was to dirty and has black mold at the corners. The wifi was very weak. The staff at the breakfast with realy rude and unpolite like he's doing us favor to be here.

    The walls of the rooms were full of fungus,also the smell of the room was fungus ,bathroom walls also dirty and stains of fungus,sheets were dirty and full of stains .There is no place to stay,even if you are tired and only for one night.I didn’t receive the money back - i think they have an arrangement with booking.Beware of this so called hotel!

    in September we spent two weeks in Turkey, one week in Izmir and one week in Istanbul. We have chosen this hotel especially because of the location. From here you can easy use tram/stop is opposite the hotel/ to the old town and ferry to various parts of Istanbul. In general we were satisfied with our stay, but we had some troubles with our room - in the bathroom and also there was problem with electricity, so we changed it and this room was in better shape. In any case the hotel needs to be restored. Breakfast in the restaurant was the same all days, served Turkish one, the guy in restoran wasn´t too polite, it seemed we troubled him. But the restaurant doesn´t belong to the hotel and otherwise it is a very good restaurant as well es many restaurants and caffes in the vicinity of the hotel, now it is a trendy location and will be more after completing all new buildings on the embankment. Otherwise the price was o.k., nice view to the mosque, a bit noisy, but if you shut the window, it is o.k. We recommend to visit this hotel after renovation.
