Location

The hotel is located right next to the Galata Tower in the historical Pera area of Istanbul. The Sultanahmet district with its famous sightseeing attractions, such as Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, is approximately 4 km away, while the busy Taksim area with its shops, bars and popular nightlife is just 2 km. Guests will find restaurants and links to the public transport network in the immediate vicinity, while the spice bazaar is 2 km away and the Grand Bazaar is 6 km from the hotel.

The hotel has 3 junior suites, 4 suites and 23 double rooms, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     We've just spent 10 days at the Anemon Galata, and although I very rarely write reviews, I was driven to write this one to comment on the outstanding serviced we received from all staff.From our initial booking, the communication was excellent, with emails answered quickly. We had a friendly welcome on arrival, and the reception staff member was always helpful and polite whenever we had a question.I really wanted to single out the room cleaning staff for special mention. They were so friendly! In really got the impression they enjoyed having us stay, and almost every morning would say hello, shake hands and make conversation.The room was a decent size, and sited in the side laneway, so noise was not a problem (although I suspect a front-facing room may be noisy at night). The hotel is literally right in from of Galata Tower, so it can be challenging on arrival for the taxi to make it's way through the crowds. Other than that, no complaints, and apart from the airport transfer, we stuck to public transport. The hotel is a short walk from Shishane Metro, and from the ferry terminal at Karaköy. We also used buses quite extensively.I would definitely stay at this hotel again - they were so helpful.     Very central. Very romantic.

    A perfect hotel for a romantic couple. It is next door to the Galata tower where we saw men proposing and lots of wedding couples taking pictures. The hotel has a stunning view from the breakfast room on top. Stunning doesn’t even cover it. You see all of Istanbul from here. There is also a wine cellar for wine and cheese. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit dated, but nice. The aircondition is super. You need it. The lobby is a moderne coffee and drinks place. Recommended!     Very clean and cozy. Old style and very nice people. My favorite place now to stay. It’s an old royal style there and everyday cleaning of you want. But of you don’t want, they accept. Never had such a good experience with a hotel. It is right next to the Galata tower.     We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I visited with my sister & we had a nice time here, The rooms are clean & well equipped and all of the staff are kind & helpful specialaly Mr Yasin . The location is great, plenty of shops, restaurants & tourist sites within easy walking distance. We loved our time in Istanbul!     I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and absolutely loved the location – it’s just a short walk from Galata Tower! One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast on the terrace, with an incredible view over the city. A big shoutout to Mr. Yasin at the front desk – he gave me super helpful info about Istanbul when I checked in. Thanks to him, I felt more prepared to explore! It’s also really easy to get to Sultanahmet and other main attractions from here.
