I really enjoyed my stay at the Antique hostel staff were friendly and helpful the location is perfect for walking around and are near almost everything to be seen. the room was quite small making it difficult to move around at times but was comfortable. It was clean and the atmosphere was great. The location is very strategic, the place to eat is good, except for cleanliness such as bed linen, pillowcases are not clean, blankets like used, not washed, many little cockroaches, gallons of chlorine-flavored drinking water, bathroom faucets are jammed, breakfast does not make you full but can feed directly to sea birds. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

The worst hostel I have ever stayed in, PLEASE stay away from this hostel unless you would like to get scolded by the reception, or if you would like to sleep on a bed with cockroaches and bugs on your side.First and foremost, cockroaches and bugs on the bed and in lockers, as shown in the photo. As for the terrible attitudes of the reception, I was extremely disturbed and terrified of the level of unprofessionalness. I have never received such an attitude in my whole life of staying at any accommodation. The first night I got there, there was a reception who apparently has no idea what he was up to. He did not know how to operate the card machine and turned to me and ask for assistance. He told me to pay on another day given he did not know how payment works.Then comes the second day when I reminded the reception, who named Adam, that I have yet to pay for my stay. The reception insisted that I have to pay in cash, while it is clearly stated on the booking page that card is accepted. He then told me to give him my credit crad, in an extremely disturbing manner. Given my credit card was only available in digital wallet, I explained that I was unable to give him a physical card. He then threatened to ‘kick me out of the hostel’ unless I pay for my stay in cash. After all the drama, he eventually figured out how to get the payment without forcing me to pay in cash or a physical card. Utter stupidity.I was utterly shocked and offended by this horrendous service. With utmost seriousness, I demand apology from this hostel for not only disobeying its own policy, but also for the horrible customer service. I have no clue how this hostel got such a decent review score on different platforms since nothing in fact correspond to what is displayed on the website. This stay deserve not even one star.

The Hostel has a perfect location in the city, the breakfast is very Good and one of the recepcionists is very helpful and kind. We have some problems, at the beggining our reservation was wrong, we reserve for three persons and they made it for only one. The room for 6 persons is very small and it doesnt have privacity each bed. Some of the recepcionists are very unhelpfull. Also they mix people of every age and it was imposible to sleep with old people in the room because they made a lot of noise. It was a hotel we preferred to stay as a family. It was a wonderfully enjoyable experience with incredibly beautiful people. The owner of the hotel, Hilmi Bey, is a very good person, very understanding and friendly. He helped us in all matters. It was a decent facility that we would prefer again on our next visit.
