English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. The location is exceptional... The hotel located in the heart of the center of SultanAhmet where wonderful historical places, shops and restaurants are near. Breakfast is avrage. Staff are all helpful and so kind. The triple room is not suitable for 3 persons, it can be good for two persons. But the greatness of the location covered everything.

Ares Hotel is located in old town just across the street from Haiga Sophia. Many many restaurants and shopping available. The rooms aren’t fancy but has everything you would need and the AC works great! The hotel employees are some of the kindest humans! Adorable, very friendly, and very helpful. They will meet you to show you the hotel, they will arrange any rides you may need, and they help you find things in Istanbul. The restaurant is great. The best lentil soup I’ve ever had! Seriously, the best lentil soup I’ve ever had. The Terrance has a great view :) I would 100% stay here again if visiting Istanbul.

The room is nice and simple. Important for us all was clean. New towels every day. All we ask was immediately done. Thank you so much. If come late home at 3am in the morning no problem. The service stuff opens the door friendly. A Turkish simple breakfast plus a extremely motivated man on the reception who did all to feel comfortable. It is located at the centre of the heart of Istanbul. You can do all by walk here. Thank you so much for a great time

fabulous location in sultanahmet area (at few steps from ayasofya, blue mosque, basilica cistern, tram line, spicy bazaar, a lot of restaurants).extraordinary team, warm treatment, discreet and fast reaction to any ask, friendly approach.an inspired choice for an outstanding vacation!

Perfect location. walking distance to tram *sultanahmet station', blue mosque, Hagia sofia. and many other top attractions. good restaurants and eatery options around, including baklava shops (Hafiz mustafa, Mado), Many convenience stores around. very helpful and hospitable staff Rooms are very small with very basic amenities. not much space to stretch around. Washroom even tinier, but functional. had a bit mouldy smell. (Toiletries: soap, shampoo, conditioner, towel, toilet paper)don't expect high quality. room safe was locked, keys were apparently lost. couldnt use it, but was assured of the CCTVs so very safe around. windows were double pane, so the noise did not disturb much during the night. Great view from the top floor. Set menu for the breakfast, with just the right quantity. Included : 1 boiled egg, 2 types of cheese, butter, olives, tomato, cucumber, jam, unlimited supply of bread. Tea or coffee. ultra smooth check in and checkout. Not for too quality conscious travellers, that would like to be pampered. Perfect for travelers focussed on discovering Istanbul and come to hotel spend the night.
