This place is a dump!

This place is a dump. We had 2 roaches in our room.There were not enough towels and this place didn't even have an elevator. There was a panel in the wall that would not close and probably is where the roaches came from. The breakfast was horrible. The eggs were cold. There was no salt and the hand sanitizer by the dining room was empty. The only good thing was the pool was very clean but the hot tub didn't work.

What a Dump

Filthy, stains on the bedding, walls and floors. Spiderwebs in the corners and under the window ledge. Ice bucket is disgusting. Mirrors not cleaned. Garbage in the hallway. Absolutely no way the five star reviews are from legitimate guests.

Horrible experience, think twice before staying here!

Cockroaches! You may not want to stay here! I checked in on 8/23/23 to a suite that I booked in advance. When I went to my room, the bathroom light was broken. The front desk person gave me another room. Before I even had a chance to unpack, I saw and killed a cockroach in the room! I immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a refund and stated that I was checking out! They refused to give me a refund. I left and found a much nicer hotel. Here is a photo of the roach I killed on the desk.

Fortunately, the pest control experts that we employed to complete the thorough inspection following your complaint discovered no evidence of roaches in any of our rooms. Short version: Steer far away from this hotel, it’s full of issues. The rooms were dirty, the breakfast hotel was a joke, visibly old hotel on the outside and inside.Extended version: We chose this hotel because it was closest to the AT&T Center we needed to be by. When we got there to check in, the receptionist told us that they did not have any availability for the room we requested, which was a double bed, but that they had upgraded us to a handicapped suite for no charge. I thought- "great, the room will be bigger and maybe a little nicer." It wasn’t.Problems the room had:-The smell was immediate as we opened the door. The best way I could describe it, is that it smelled like a wet towel that had been piled up in the corner. Just a moldy kind of smell.-The carpet was dirty. There were all kinds of debris and dirt, as if they hadn’t vacuumed. The restroom floor had debris as well as hair and hair in the shower.-Blow-dryer in room did not work.-Ironing table did not have a cloth cushion-Bed mattress had plastic underneath which made it uncomfortable-Beds are small for 2 people to shareI called the receptionist to let them know about these concerns which she tried to excuse by saying the vacuum does not pick up everything, but she asked if we could stay the night in this room and tomorrow they would move us to another. So we did.Our stay included breakfast, so we decided to get up early to get breakfast. We walked to the breakfast room in the lobby and the breakfast they had was barley breakfast. They had 2 types of cereal, mini muffins, yogurts, and on warmers they had some biscuits and what looked like frozen egg patties. Very disappointing. The breakfast was very limited and not at all appetizing.I returned to the lobby around 3pm the next day to get moved to the other room like they said they would. I got a new room assigned and it was slightly better but still had problems.The problems this room had:-There was still a smell in the room, but it was not as bad.-One of the restroom light switches needed to be pressed multiple times in order to stay on.-Beds are small for 2 people to share-The A/C did not seem to cool like the other room did.-The remote control for the TV did not work.We had to turn on the TV manually from the buttons on the TV but the remote still wouldn't change the channels or volume. I called the lobby to let them know and they said it may be batteries. So, I went to go change the batteries but still it did not work. I let them know again and the receptionist said there was nothing to be done about it and that they could change us to another room if we’d like. We denied that because we did not want to move all of our belongings again.Overall, the stay at this hotel was very disappointing and not at all relaxing, as a hotel stay should be. When someone has a day full of activities planned, people want to come back to their hotel room to relax. This hotel did not help us to do that at all.

Good location but dishonest management

Great location and quiet rooms. Unfortunately we were charged twice. We prepaid with Hotwire.com, but the check-in person insisted that we needed to pay because she said the first charge was only a credit hold. I have proof they charged me twice and they refused to issue a refund after repeated attempts. Buyer beware.
