  Lovely hotel in the heart of Galata

  Lovely little hotel in the heart of Galata very close to the Tower. We had a great room with a balcony it was small but had everything we needed for a 3 day city break. There is no lift but we had help with our luggage so not a problem at all. The room was spotlessly clean & cleaned daily. Breakfast was included in our stay at a local cafe a couple of minutes walk away & overlooking Galata Tower - the food was excellent. The walk to the river from the hotel took about 15 minutes down a steep hill so hotel may not suit anyone with walking difficulties. Manager Yalçin was so friendly & welcoming. Would definitely recommend & we will return.

  A quiet gem in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood

  Art Nouveau Galata is a gem of a hotel in a great neighborhood. The Galata neighborhood is fun and vibrant, with lots of cute cafés, dessert spots, restaurants and hip music and gift shops clustered around the historic Galata Tower. The hotel is right in the heart of the action—our room literally overlooked the Galata Tower!—but our space was quiet and peaceful despite the nonstop fun outside. Our room had a little balcony which would've been a wonderful spot to sip coffee and people watch (if we'd allowed ourselves some downtime from sightseeing!). Our room was modestly sized but had everything we needed and more—roomy storage for clothes, a TV, desk, and spacious modern bathroom. The room even had a small kitchenette which was an unexpected plus! We loved going to the brasserie across the square to eat breakfast (included) every morning. The T1 tram stop and Tünel were both nearby which was extremely convenient for getting around. But the best part of our stay was undoubtedly the kind and attentive service. Yalçin and his gracious colleagues went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it possibly could be. When we visit Istanbul next, we know where we'll be staying!

  Great hotel in a perfect location

  This was my first trip to Istanbul and my fiancé had a great time, the Art Nouveau Galata Hotel was the perfect spot to stay. The rooms were nice and comfortable, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was great, right around the corner from the Galata Tower. We walked all over the city, and it was always reassuring to be able to see the tower no matter where we were and know how to get back to our hotel. The breakfast provided by the hotel was a daily highlight for us as well. A real Turkish breakfast is hard to beat. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

  Small hotel very well located, 1 minute walking form Galata tower, staff is really nice, Murat is very helpful with all that you can need.Rooms are very simple but ac works great, beds are comfy and bathroom works great.I will stay here again.

  The best hotel in Istanbul ever

  We have been staying in Istanbul many time in different hotels. But only here in this hotel we feel ourselves like at home. Comfortable beds, everything is clean and tidy, air conditioning and hearted were keeping nice warmth in the room, small shampoos and soaps are provided.The guys Murat and Ahmet are so friendly, helpful, attentive and careful. They are so sincere, and they really can solve any problem, help in anything you need. They are real professionals and at the same so kind-hearted people. The location is perfect- right next to the Galata tower, lots of restaurants, authentic cafes and shops.It’s excellent! Highly recommend.
