Located in the centre of the historical district, the hotel is within walking distance of the major attractions at Sultanahmet and there are local amenities close by such as shops, restaurants and local transport links. Marmara Beach is about 700 metres away. Ataturk Airport is about 13 km away and Sabiha Gokcen Airport is some 45 km away.

The hotel has 12 rooms, including 3 single rooms and 5 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing.     Nothing like pictures - DO NOT GO

    The hotels looks absolutely nothing like the pictures shown. The rooms were very dirty, curtains that were falling apart and not been washed ever. The toilet and shower was also dirty, there was no room service. The rooms are very tiny and out of date. Biggest issue for me was that there was no kettle and no tea arrangement! Absolute disgrace. There is also no lift so we had to climb 4 flights of stairs with suitcases. The pictures are very misleading and you will not the views advertised.

    BEWARE.VERY BAD MY BAD EXPERIENCEJust come back from istanbul today. Booked this hotel for 5 nights. When i got there they gave me a small a room with faulty A/C. When i told the receptionist he said its auto it will come on .later went back to him saying it has nit come on. He came to my room and put his finger in a hole in the a/c and got it started but lasted only 10 mins. He said it will come on again but never did. Live wire showing in the socket. Filthy bathroom. No privacy as there was only half curtain in the room, neighbouring hotel room can see me in my room i stayed that night but couldnt stay any more. In the morning i went for breakfast at 9.30 when it suppose to be serve till 10am but receptionist its finish .then he gave me a plate of so called breakfast disgusting. Straihhtaway i went out and booked myself another room in a better hotel on the main road near the blue mosque. Everything close by . Hotel clean with proper card key unlike asitane gave a key which look like the 1970 key. Honestly i dont regret paying for another room and it was cheaper yhan asitane hotel. I would say to anybody going stanbul book yourself in STAR HOLIDAY HOTEL. room very clean .staff great. Breakfast on the roof looking the main road and mosque and tram.buffet breakfast. Safe in the room and cleaner everyday. Best advice stayway from this hotel

    Lovely Hotel, great location.The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely experience here. The only downfall is there is no elevator other than that it was great. Thank you for helping us when needed. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a bereavement in the family and the staff were very helpful and considerate. Once again a lovely experience.

    “Saeed” a great receptionist and cozy hotel

    I stayed at this cozy hotel for five days. The room was clean and if I needed amenities such as towel or shampoo etc, they were provided. “Saeed” the receptionist, is very welcoming and nice. He was very helpful to me in different times. He always has a smile on his face. He improved my experience of staying at this hotel and one of the main reasons I am giving this hotel a five star review. All in all, he is an amazing and wonderful person.Just remember that it is a three star hotel, and you get what you pay for.This hotel was very affordable and worth the value.I expected a hot shower and good quality sleep which I received.The bed was very comfortable and water temperature and pressure was perfect.Thanks for your hospitality.

    I stayed at Asitane Life for 5 nights and everything was excellent. Hotel is extremely clean, very friendly staff. I had an amazing sea view from my room on the fifth floor. Hotel is very well located on the walking distance from all major sights of Istanbul. station is 5 minutes walking, and metro is also nearby. Supermarket is close by as well. Only con is the lobby is quite small, with little seating area.
