    Terrible hotel, great reception staff

    rating11 Jun 2016

Chose this hotel as it was recommended to me by my brother. Booked the executive suit as the room was supposed to come with a hot tub. On arrival, although staff didn't speak much English, they were very helpful and polite. The room itself had all of the same facilities as the standard double room I had also booked for someone else. I had to clean the bathroom myself before I could use it and the 'daily maid service' was non existent so also had to clean everyday myself. There was no hot tub, just a bath tub with a mechanism to create a hot tub-like experience - this did not work so it would have been a regular bath tub, had there actually been a plug! So no plug and also no 'toiletries', the soap drape sets were empty and the towels were never changed, I had to take them myself from an open linen cupboard. There was so seating area and no kitchenette as stated on the room description. When I complained I was told that the room wasn't an executive suit it was a delux double, when I tried to explain it wasn't suitable the reception staff didn't understand what I meant as English isn't their first language, which I completely understand, how ever there should be an English speaker available at least over the telephone, so I received no refund or apology, and even after complaining my room was still not cleaned or anything. Awful, don't waste your money

    Outstanding service, great stuff!

I stayed in Asya Suites this April, 2014. It's a cozy hotel in a quiet area. The room is spacious and very clean and most importantly, the stuff was very helpful and nice. Both Bilal and Orhun are very professional and kind. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in or near Atasehir.

Nice hotel if you have any business in Ataşehir

    rating28 Dec 2013

Very good location in Ataşehir, nice staff, spacious and clean rooms , But I had some problems with the price: I don't know if it was intentional or really an error, but they fixed it after I insisted. The wifi keeps disconnecting, the intercontinental breakfast is very poor.

Asya Suites: still a bit of work to do when I visited, but outstanding service

    rating29 Sept 2013

I stayed in Asya Suites in the summer of 2011, when this small boutique hotel had just opened its doors (or so I was told). This means the hotel still needed a 'finishing touch', and my opinion was certainly colored by that impression. There was a kitchenette (reason for me to rent the room) but unfortunately, when I arrived, it turned out there were no pots, pans, and cutlery - there was a microwave, small stove, and refrigerator though. When I asked, my question where I could find the kitchenware was first met with some surprise, but the staff was very courteous and tried to get some plates for me. The room was very spacious, clean, and the interior looked warm and inviting with its red colors. Upon entrance of the room, there was a small kitchenette at the right, and the spacious room had a large king size bed and lcd tv. The only downside of the guest room, was that the curtains let a lot of light in. The shower had a luxurious set-up; sand colors and a beautiful design. There were not a lot of bath items (a little bit of soap), but as mentioned: the hotel was just starting out, so that could have changed. Every morning someone knocked on my door to bring me a tray filled with warm, fresh delicious pastries, marmalades, different cheeses, a warm boiled egg, hot tea, fresh bread and olives. It was a marvelous breakfast - it's a pity to read they gave up on this personal service. The surrounding of the hotel was not particularly inviting; there seemed to be some construction work going on, and the area looked a bit 'grey'. The rooms did not seem to be isolated very well, yet, the surrounding was calm enough to have a good night of sleep. I had the same problem as some other hotel guests experienced: it was very difficult to find the hotel, taxi drivers had problems to encounter the street. Even with directions once we were searching in the area for forty minutes, asking residents in order to find the street where the hotel was located. The staff made up for everything though: they were very polite, helpful, and friendly. The service was outstanding All in all, given the surroundings, the location of the hotel (Asian side), and the state of the hotel when I arrived (a bit unfinished with items missing), plus amenities (or lack thereof), I thought the price per night (E100 per night for a one week stay) was a bit too much for what was offered at that moment compared to other hotels I stayed in the same area. I can see how that would be different currently though.

Perfect for a short business trip to the Asian side of Istanbul

    rating02 Jan 2013

I stayed in Asya Suites during a business trip in early 2012. The hotel is located in a small road, 300 meters from the Marriott Hotel, it is not easy to find and the Taxi Driver had some trouble getting me there so be sure to take the phone number with you.The hotel is relatively small but has clean, spacious rooms with all the amenities you would expect from a business hotel, free WiFi and friendly, efficient staff. Breakfast is served in the café next to the hotel. It doesn't offer a great variety but is tasty. If all you're looking for is a hassle-free stay in a friendly atmosphere and a quiet place to get a good nights sleep, look no further and treat yourself to some great Turkish delicacies from the money you safe compared to shiny Marriott next door :-)
