Trash service
15 Mar 2026
States for 3 weeks for work. The room was fine no issue. Front Desk agents did great. But the restaurant service staff…. What a disaster. I got accused of stealing, yelled at across the lobby, when I spoke to management, the COO of the management group all I asked for was to make sure that employee didn’t speak to me again. Not only did he speak to me, he yelled at me again from across the lobby, when I didn’t respond he chased me down, put his hand on my shoulder to get my attention. Ownership should get a new management company.

Great Hotel stay every time
24 Jan 2025
The customer service here is great and I have never had a problem here. The food is also great which is not usually the case at most hotel restaurants. The hotel is very clean and housekeeping goes out their way for customers. They always have the best point price in Houston.

Super kind staff. The hotel is beautiful and super clean. Raymond at the cafe was particularly kind and helpful! We’re coming back to sugar land in a few weeks for work and hope to stay here again. The view of the river is also beautiful and it’s easy walking distance to get to shops.

Bathroom is not guest friendly
04 Mar 2024
I am a senior citizen of 80+ years. The toilet and sink in your recently remodeled rooms are not user friendly. The toilet is so low I had trouble standing up, and the sink is set so far back it was not easyly accessable, especially with the towel bar in front adding three additional inches to reach the faucets. On the first evening I phoned the desk to ask for a handicap room, thinking this would be better, and was given assurances our luggage would be moved to another room the following day. Next morning as we were leaving at approximately 8 AM, again we were assured our luggage would be moved to a different room.I arrived back at 5 o'clock to learn there had been no room change, and there was a portable toilet seat left in our room. This was unacceptable, and not what we were told would happen. We were offered another room on the first floor, but this room had the same child height toilet, and hard to reach sink. Susan, the Sales Manager, offerered us a room at the Resident's Inn across the parking lot. This room had one bed, and a pullout sofa, that you could use for a second guest, with "the linens in the closet". This was EVEN MORE UNACCEPTABLE!! (In all my years of travel I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to make up my bed, with "linens in the closet".)It is now almost 7PM, I am very tired and very unhappy. I went back to the Courtyard/Stafford, took the room on the first floor with the portable toilet seat and used it help raise me from the very low toilet. I refuse to believe no one has complained about the toilets before now.It is my opinion that the Courtyard Sugarland/Stafford should replace some or all of the toilets to accomodate ALL your guest. And remove the towel bar in front of the sink for better access to the faucets.

Clean room bad smell
23 May 2023
Room was on third floor and looked new and clean. Bed was pretty comfortable. HOWEVER, there was weed smell in the room! I'm not sure how the ventilation system works? I've never experienced such horrible smell in a Marriot or its equivalent competitors.
