  Excellent rooms, great price and very friendly staff

  This hotel is a gem. The apartments are large, well-lit, well-furnished and very clean. The staff is very polite, though we sometimes had difficulty communicating in English. The wi-fi is free and reception was very good throughout the day from most areas in the apartment and there were several outlets for charging our phones and laptops. The hotel is very quiet. There was even a wedding at the hotel restaurant while we stayed here. We could barely hear the music (on the 6th floor) and they lowered the volume a lot when it started getting late, so it didn't bother us at all. The breakfast is typical Turkish. There is no breakfast lounge, so you always have it in the room, which was nice. It didn't include coffee - perhaps we should have asked for it separately. The closest metro station is a 15-min walk from the hotel, and part of the route is uphill and very steep. There is a bus stop much closer (still uphill though, and you need to have bought a card in advance). There are several restaurants in the area (including a nice one on the ground floor of the hotel ), and we saw a couple of small markets as well. Overall, it's very convenient and an excellent choice if you have business in the area.Tip: make sure you have the hotel's phone number with you if you take a taxi, so if the driver doesn't know how to get there (it's not on a major street), he can call them for directions.

  Modern and Elegant Place to Stay

  Surprisingly pleased with the overall quality of room, furniture and service. Two weeks stay was wonderful, the support staff is very helpful. The place is located in a quite locality, a good night sleep is assured. Also the area is safe I travelled back to hotel at awkward hours and felt safe. Metro train and Metro bus is good 15 min walk but it connects you to all parts of Istanbul. The room was cleaned regularly and felt nice. Happy to recommend and also stay in my next trip.

  a beautiful elegant place to stay

  This hotel is a real find.. hidden away in a part of fashionable Besiktas, very close to the highway that connects to one of the main bridges which go over the Bosphorous.. It has a number of suites which come equipped with all the sorts of things you might need for a good stay, and the decor is modernist and elegant. the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service always comes with a smile. Definitely recommended.

  The Aura Suites satisfied our needs fully for the five nights that we stayed there. The friendly staff really made the difference for us. There is a very nice med style restaurant on the lower floor serving wonderful risotto and all you need for a good breakfast. In addition there is a great coffee shop right up the street serving some of the citys best. If you need to be close to the business district close by, this is a good match. appr 15minute walk to the Gayrettepe metro station.
