Location

This hotel is very centrally located close to a park and just 30 m from the river bank. Restaurants, shopping venues and links to the public transport network are to be found only 50 m away. The historical centre with the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia Museum and the Topkapi Palace can be reached in just a few minutes' walk.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1900. The hotel has a lift and features 48 non-smoking rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Guests of the hotel are welcome to relax in the garden.     Wonderful Stay In The Heart Of Sultanahmet

    We recently stayed at Avicenna Hotel Sultanahmet as two young female friends visiting Istanbul, and we had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its location. As first-time visitors traveling on our own, safety was very important to us. The hotel is located in a very safe and beautiful area of Sultanahmet, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and some of Istanbul’s most famous attractions. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and many other sights are within walking distance, and the T1 tram line nearby makes it very easy to reach other parts of the city.The hotel itself is charming, beautifully designed, and very well maintained. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and had a lovely terrace with a beautiful view. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.What truly made our stay special, was the outstanding staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. Whenever we had questions about transportation, locations, or things to do in Istanbul, the staff took the time to explain everything in detail and always suggested the best routes and options for us.We would especially like to thank Barış, Emin, Merve, Kazım Dilek, and all the entire hotel team for their warmth, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality. Their kindness and willingness to help made a real difference and contributed greatly to our positive experience.The breakfast was delicious, varied, and offered everything we needed to start our day. Most importantly, every member of the team greeted us with a smile, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay.We would happily stay at Avicenna Hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
