Location

Located in the Laleli district of the historical part of Istanbul, the hotel is within easy access of Sultanahmet and the major sightseeing attractions. The Grand Bazaar is only 400 metres away and a tram stop is just 150 metres from the property offering links to Sultanahmet and Galata Bridge. Atatürk International Airport is about 14 km away and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport is roughly 50 km from the establishment.

Facility

The hotel has 3 suites, 10 single rooms and 75 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Very bad experience. Hotel " de lux" maybe 20+ years ago. Everything outdated, dirty, starting with the bathroom .I believe it wasn't clean properly since it was removed last time. The smell in the room was like old pipes and not to mention the coaches.Very small room, you can't open a large suitcase. No child save windows , and the children bed was right beside the window. Costumer service very poorly, only one person at the reception was speaking descent English. All the rest of the employee were struggling with everything.Breakfast the same every day, and if you want a herbal tea the first thing that they are saying is " extra money" for a tea bag that they actually don't know how to tell you what it is , or what you actually are asking for. We booked for half board, after the first night when they provided a set menu, without even presenting it to us, they told us that the kitchen is closed in the evening because of the Ramadan.No other explanations, not offering an alternative neither a refund. We booked it in January, through On the Beach, our mistake not to do more research. It will never happen again.

    Overall, the hotel was good — conveniently located near all the places I wanted to visit. Since we spent most of our time exploring, we didn’t stay in the hotel much, but the experience we did have was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming to me and my mum.The real highlight of our stay was the restaurant on the 6th floor. Ayub and Hassan were absolutely wonderful hosts — they made us feel so comfortable and genuinely cared for. Every evening, they took the time to chat with us, even playing music from our home country, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was delicious, full of flavour, and they easily catered to our dietary needs.Ayub and Hassan truly made us feel like family, and we can’t thank them enough for making our stay a 10/10 experience.

    We arrived at night, usually after a long journey to a foreign country you expect at least polite and at least professional hotel staff to deal with you, but very disappointed as the receptionist ( Hasan ) was very rude, aggressive and unhelpful. And that is the last thing you want to see from the first impression, we booked deluxe room but tge room was very small, very poor condition, small bathroom and toilet, but what was most annoying was the bad attitude of the hotel receptionist, when I came down there was another Yong man don’t know his name but he was polite enough to at least answer me but soon hasan told him off and been rude his staff too and he said to me you can complain to the hotel manager for the following day, we were very down and felt like ruined our holiday, for the following day I have spoken to ( Zaharia ) he was very helpful and polite, he asked ( Ibrahim ) to change our room but the room still outdated and there was not even a kettle, but at least ( Zaharia and Ibrahim) were polite and helpful, I don’t recommend this hotel and far away from 4star hotel, it is not even 3 star, the only thing is the location was good and the breakfast was ok. I don’t think people pay to the hotel to get these kind of rude service.

    I stayed at Bekdaş Hotel and was very satisfied with my experience. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with rooms serviced daily – fresh bed linen, neat furniture, and everything in order. For the price I paid, the service was excellent.The breakfast was a highlight – varied and delicious, much better compared to other hotels I have stayed in. The hotel restaurant is located on the 6th floor and offers a stunning view of Istanbul, making it a perfect spot to start the day.The staff were friendly and always ready to help, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The location is also convenient, with easy access to the main attractions.I must also add that, after reading some of the reviews from other guests, I hesitated at first. However, after my own stay, I can say that many of those comments seem unjustified or exaggerated. My experience was genuinely positive, and I would definitely stay here again!

    We paid for one night more and we didn’t pay attention because we were so tired and the next day when we talked with the receptionist he said no we can’t give you the money because it’s already gone to the company, and that’s why we will never come back to this hotel.
