  Everything was great, cozy and clean rooms, great service, receptionist was very helpful when needed, great location for exploring the city, buss and tram stops are very close, healthy breakfast. A lot of shops and food places nearby. Nice atmosphere. Overall great hotel and staff, highly reccomend :)

  We enjoyed our 3 night stay here, easy check in, room was clean and spacious enough for us. Breakfast offered wasn’t quite to our taste with the cold meats and cheeses, but we had cereal and coffee anyway and enjoyed it sat outside. Sometimes the WiFi was abit iffy but not enough to be a problem. Great location aswell, no complaints. The staff were friendly and always saying hello and goodbye to us. Overall a good stay

  The location is great. The most popular attractions like Aya Sofia, Sultan Ahmet Mosque, Gülhane park, Topkapi Saray, Kapali Bazar are walking distance near by. Also, the Eminonu station where you can take the tram to Galata Tower or ship to the Asian side is a few minutes away. The Marmaray metro station for the Asian side also. The hotel is a small, nice hotel. Breakfast is good. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are heated, it was very warm due it was cold and rainy outside. You have towels, soap and tea in the room. Nearby there are a lots of restaurants and shops. Special thanks to the receptionist Telal. He was very helpful and made us feel like home.

  Stayed at this hotel throu british airways,one plus point,is its location,otherwise this is a one star hotel,we were given a dreadful box room,right next to the 1970's style lift,the room had a view of a brick wall and sewage pipe,the bathroom was so small the door was unable to open fully as catches the toilet and the shower apart from the pipe leaking,the size was not even child size,the window latch came off and part of the door frame was loose,the staff were next to useless and didn't care,breakfast was appalling,we had bread and jam!,if you want cheap and not cheerful stay here,otherwise avoid at all costs

  Extremely disappointing stay at this hotel

  We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and to be honest it was 3 nights too long! Firstly, we were allocated the wrong room, we had booked a double, but were given a horrible room with 3 single beds. Wallpaper was torn and it was so dull and depressing. After my husband complained, we were given a double room, but this size of it was unbelievable. Absolutely no room whatsoever. It didńt feel particularly clean and there was mould all over the tiles in the shower. However, the man on reception was the final straw. Unhelpful doesńt begin to cover it. He didńt smile at us, just grunted and made us feel like a total inconvenience. When we were due to leave, we asked if he could book us a taxi to the airport. He informed us he could only book the private transfer at double the price we paid to get from the airport. When this was queried, he became quite irritable, so I can only assume he is on some kind of commission. In the end, we just went out into the street and asked one of the drivers just around. He said it was no problem and quoted us less than half than that of the hotel employee. I dońt enjoy being unkind about people and I dońt know what he has going on in his life. However, although not a top class hotel, I think basic politeness and courtesy to guests is imperative. We certainly wońt be returning here and could not recommend it in any way.
