Commendable Group Hospitality and Professional Service at Beyaz Saray Hotel

    rating28 Apr 2026

Our group of 20 recently stayed at the Beyaz Saray Hotel, and we were thoroughly impressed by the high standard of service provided. The check-in process for a group of our size can often be complex, but Ferhat at the front desk handled it with exceptional efficiency and professionalism. He ensured a seamless transition and personally oversaw the timely delivery of our luggage to our respective rooms. We would also like to commend the housekeeping staff on the 4th and 5th floors. Their attention to detail was excellent; they were consistently courteous and ensured our rooms were meticulously cleaned and restocked daily.Furthermore, the dining experience was greatly enhanced by the breakfast service team. The three young gentlemen on staff were remarkably proactive and polite. They anticipated our needs by providing high chairs for our infants without being prompted and maintained the buffet with great care, ensuring items were replenished well before they were depleted.Lastly, the complimentary high-speed WiFi was reliable and performed well throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul for its professional staff and commitment to guest satisfaction.

    I would not use again.....

    rating18 Nov 2025

Firstly I like to say, that the location of this Hotel is 5-star, that was all of the positives. Most of the Hotel rooms have no windows, which we knew beforehand. We had the option to upgrade to a room with window, but as that was a lot smaller then the room with no window, we declined the upgrade and opted for the space. The room was of a nice size but lacked the finishing touches. The floor tiles for example were put together by someone drunk, I suppose. The desk and next to the bed lacked plugs ins for telephone and laptop. There was one plug in the middle of the bed which would get knocked out while sleeping, what a stupid location....The Air conditioning did not work and the room was a constant 24 degrees with the AC on cold and 12 degrees. We complained 3 times and the "technician" came, put the temperature lower to 14 degrees and said to wait for 10 minutes and everything would be fine. Needless to say that was not correct. At night we were sweating und had stuffy noses as the air was just making noises but with no cooling. When you have a shower the whole bath gets drenched as there is no door to maintain the splashing water from the shower. The toilet in the room needs better cleaning. The seat underneath had yellow stains which did look disgusting. The two public toilets, which were close by, made loud noises when the door was closing and let us get a shock every time it closed. Reception did not take our complaint serious. While the Hotel is in an excellent location, we would not use it again, as we value our sleep and fresh cool air at night, even if we don't have a window.

Hotel Review – Beyaz Saray Spa, Fatih, Istanbul

    rating31 Oct 2025

We arrived early at 9:00 AM and were held in the lobby for four hours. No early-check-in option offered, even with payment. The front desk stated “no rooms ready,” which signals capacity planning and guest management issues. The first room allocated was unacceptable: extremely small, not clean, wardrobe without a door, worn-out towels and bed covers, and an outdated bathroom. Floor was dirty, and we even saw cockroaches. Completely below industry hygiene standards. We endured one very bad night in these conditions. When we raised the issue, the front desk agent was dismissive, rude, and confrontational — even shouting at me and my children. He refused assistance and told us to wait until morning. This is a customer-service failure and a training gap. When we mentioned calling tourism police, he said he didn’t care. Completely unprofessional.Only when a manager arrived — who barely spoke English — did we receive support. After seeing photos, he acted promptly and changed our room. Credit to him. The new room was slightly better, but still below expectations. Towels and covers remained worn and damaged. Sheets were never changed during our six-night stay. Floors were not cleaned; housekeeping only replaced towels and emptied trash. That’s improper housekeeping protocol.Breakfast lacked variety. Same food daily, artificial juices, undrinkable machine coffee. Tea only acceptable item. No dinner service. Hotel facilities behind the curve. Spa Turkish bath was average, massage was good, pool extremely small and limited to 15 minutes free use. This is not aligned with guest wellness expectations.Positive: Location is excellent — near the Grand Bazaar. That’s the single win.Bottom Line This property desperately needs a renovation and an overhaul in service discipline and hospitality training. Customer experience, cleanliness standards, and facility maintenance are all off-track.Recommendation: Not returning. Would not recommend until management invests in infrastructure, service culture, and quality control.

    Good location but.......

    rating21 Oct 2024

There are some positives and some negatives about this hotel Positives are: good location of hotel, near both tram and metro.Helpful housekeeping and restaurant staff. Specially one particular young man. Can't remember his name but his from Tajikistan. Spacious room and comfortable.Negatives. Some areas need updating and renovating. The bathroom has nowhere to hang your clothes and no soap dispenser. It's a must and hygienic. The reception staff are not friendly and forth coming. They are not as helpful as you would expect. Could be them not being fluent in English. Also, they don't make it clear when booking that their half board is breakfast and lunch. Not breakfast and evening dinner as we were led to believe. Hence booking this hotel. Would recommend but shop around first.

    Good location, bad employees

    rating29 Jun 2024

The hotel location is great, they offer good breakfast, but the hotel staff with exception to cleaning staff are rude. They give you one card to the room even if you are 2 and if you ask for a second card they ask you to pay a 100 refundable lira, in all my travels I was never asked to pay for hotel card!!!
