  Good location and good service

  You get a nice and good reception. The hotel is located in a lively and good area with plenty of exciting shopping and dining options, and fairly close to the main attractions. It is NOT a hotel for people with difficulty walking, because there are a lot of stairs and the hotel is located on a steep hill. The kindness and welcoming are excellent. We got a less good room which we would not accept and were immediately offered an excellent room somewhere else very close to this hotel at the same price. Breakfast was served at Hotel Gedikpasa. It is, by the way, quite ordinary, and it takes place in an exciting and well-preserved cellar, where it embraces the past.The staff helped us with all the things we asked for.Of course it is not a supermodern and technosmart hotel.   This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. There is no staff so you have to go another hotel to get help checking in. I paid for a deluxe room with city views and was placed in a basement. The bathroom looked like it had not been cleaned in three months. There is an extreme smell of mold, and there are water drops and brick dust falling from the ceiling onto the bed. This place is a scam that should be avoided!

  You will not find this place. We spent an hour & a half looking with locals asking all the local shops for us, sending their kids running up & down alley ways to see if it might be there. Google maps, local knowledge, none of that helped. They quickly sent a no show claim to sting us for the first nights booking too. I'm hoping to get Booking.com to show them they don't deserve the €40 no show fee (wish me luck)DO NOT BOOK!

  Located in a terrible street, unprofessional management

  Be careful when booking this property on booking.com. The hotel manager will confirm your reservation using the email address of their better sister hotel. The email he sent gave me directions to the better located hotel but I was eventually brought to the one originally booked. This is extremely unprofessional and misleading. I planned the holiday using this other address and hotel name they used to communicate with me and no-where I was told they actually have two hotels.The street where the hotel is located is dirty, and messy, everything looks like it is collapsing. The building itself is really old, overall the first impression is really uncomfortable. I ended up paying another hotel elsewhere, the hotel management attitude was not helpful at all and I ended up losing my money.
