  An excellent little Boutique Hotel

  The Suite Dreams hotel is such a gem of a place. The staff are friendly and even though travelling alone, I was never alone. Sercan makes you feel extremely welcome and cannot do enough for you to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. From Airport transfers to Covid Tests can all arranged through the hotel at very reasonable costs. They have Covid procedures in place and sanitisers are available throughout the hotel. Door handles etc are constantly disinfected which puts your mind at rest during these unprecedented times. Situated in a quiet street, away from the hustle and bustle of Taksin Square (which is only a 5 minute walk) you’re never far from shops, restaurants or transport. I cannot recommend this place enough. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a one night stay or a long stay, Suite Dreams will bend over backwards to ensure you have a wonderful time in Istanbul.

  Recently stayed for 8 nights at suite dreams in Istnabul, overall a good stay, the room having everything you would need (toilet, bed, sofa, TV, Mini kitchen) as well as being close to the centre.Its worth noting the rooms are themed, ours ended up being cupcake, a few of the others were a bit more specific (Horror, Marilyn Monroe etc) if this isn't your thing id bear it in mind. A couple of things to note, the plumbing was pretty smelly, however this seemed to be the case a lot in Istanbul, the wifi was a bit patchy, the bed cover and sofa had a few rips in it. However the cleaning in particular was very good.Worth using as a base to explore the metropolis that is Istanbul

  The receptionist was attentive and responsive to our requests and promptly rectified issues that had happened with my check in. Quiet yet stil sufficiently central location. one enhancement would have been better had the hostel was furnished with a fully equipped kitchen

  Following the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor, we had looked forward to our stay at Suite Dreams, and in several aspects we did:The positivesExcellent location close to Taksim Square;Spacious room;Large comfortable bed;Tasty breakfast delivered to your room;Efficient WiFi;Extremely friendly staff;The room door was modern and high security;Now for the not so good- The shower room is small with several unsightly air con pipes hanging over your head, one of which drained into the shower; the toilet pan is far too close to the shower; Despite a notice saying it was ‘sanitised for your protection’ the toilet seat was detached from the brackets and cracked from one side to the other;The room safe is not attached to anything so could be lifted away;The laminate flooring has various large gaps; The blind was poorly cut around the boiler letting light stream in early morning;Now for the fundamental problem- from day one the shower performed extremely poorly- either extremes of hot and cold or water coming out only in a dribble. Being able to shower in a hot country is essential, and the hotel failed us in the regard- we complained on day 2 of 7 but there was no improvement. Most days we had to wash in cold water which often only dribbled out the shower head. This was extremely frustrating and disappointing and spoiled our stay at Suite Dreams Istanbul. We could tolerate the other negative points, but the water issue meant we would never return.

  I cannot imagine staying anywhere else

  Where do I begin?The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with a kitchen and some very cool decoration. Ceren and everyone at this hotel is absolutely the best. Her husband is a brilliant woodworker and I am pleased to own a piece of his art. Her staff is as lovely and helpful as she. Kitties of Istanbul can often be found sleeping in the lobby, I fell in love with the yet to be named black kitty who was being bottle fed and Simba the black and white that favored a chair near the entrance. You are easily connected by transit and steps from some really excellent food. I did not want to leave and now that I am home, I wish to go back. Truly the best in hospitality on every level.
