  For a hotel on a motorway services it's actually very good. it's on par with a modernised Travelodge or premier inn, the room was clean and a decent size and couldn't hear any road noise or cars outside. where this place steps itself apart is the reception area and mainly the staff. Michelle, Ellie and Lynne were honestly the best staff in any hotel including 5 stars hotels abroad I've ever met. couldn't do more for you. our son Lomond is autistic and they honestly made his trip one to remember and went well above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. we will be back to see these lovely ladies many more times. the area bit where they work is friendly and welcoming and actually in a different trip would happily sit and have drink or some food there.

  Family stay for 2 nights. Did not enjoy at all mainly due to cleanliness. Floors were filthy and we had to wear shoes at all times as feet were getting black, hairs around shower area, just felt dirty. A bedside lamp head was broken. There was a light on the aircon unit in the second room that was on permanently (even though it was off) that kept me awake due to light coming off it throughout the night. I think it was smoke/ fire detectors in the bedrooms that flicker with light - so nice small flashes of light all night! There was 1 remote between the 2 rooms and tvs, which wasn't a bother really, but the remote was gruby with bits stuck between the buttons. It was gross. You have to hang a thing on the door for the rooms to be cleaned and beds made up etc each morning, which we did. The only thing they done was replace towels and empty bins. Beds weren't made up, floor still had bits on it and hadn't seen a mop in what looked like weeks. Disgusting. We done the online check in to save the faff on arrival but still had to do it on arrival which took ages. Annoying. We generally stay bugetish hotels when on trips where hotel is just a base to sleep. This is the worst we have stayed. It totally flt like a service station feel (grubby and a bit yucky). Felt like everything in the room was just yucky. We then went to a hilton garden inn hotel for 2 nights. Cost £20 more but that included breakfast for the 3 of us 2 mornings. Oh my it felt like luxury after saying here. Clean, so much more luxurious.I did raise the issue of the beds not been made up or room floor cleaned after 1st night. Advised they would write it in housekeeping book. On check out I raised my thoughts on the hotel, especially cleanliness and was advised it would be written in the book. Great help to us - not.

  Nice big room with comfy bed pillows a little hard for me. Nice and clean quite night sleep.easy parking. Would recommend and definitely come back if I was in the area.
