    If you are looking for a cozy hotel in a great location with competitive rates, this is the place. Just a few steps from the tower and the amazing night life in Istanbul. Special thanks to Suat, the manager who was extremely nice throughout my staying at Murat Hotel.

    We made a reservation at a different hotal online before flying to Istanbul. But once in Istanbul, we took a taxi to our hotel, taxi driver asked us what hotel to go than he convincedus our hotel was too far, we still insisted going there.He said he has to call hotel to make sure we have reservation there. After talking in Turkish language to hotel he said iur reservation there was cancelled. He took us to this hotel. Our room was on 4th floor. You have to climb very narrow wooden stairs.room was hardly 7×7 or 8×8. It was hot like hell until AC was turned on.bathroom comode seat was broken. Balcony door was broken. To lock the room door you had to wrrstle with it. Boy at reception, whose name was zuad or something was very rude. No matter what you ask him his answer was I work only in evening and I did not know about any of these problems. We stayed there just one night and moved out next day. DO not stay here. It's not worth at all. They charged $60 for one night. In my opinion it's not worth more than $25.It turned out taxi driver was their cousin who would bring them ill planned passangers like us.

    Super hotel...amazing staff and great location....such good value....The staff incredibly helpful...really lovely room. The location was perfect for exploring the whole city...2 mins to Galata tower....5 mins to the Tunel and funicular...to connect with metro..or walk across Galata Bridge...Just perfect for solo traveller

    I really appreciate This hotel, it was a nice surprise. They speak a very good english, are always willing to help. The hair dryer stop working and they were very fast to change it.There is no breakfast, but near the hotel there are many options to haver a breakfast.Very safe place to walk anytime.

    Nice clean hotel in a very nice location .. clean rooms comfort beds good bathrooms .. very lively small street lots of bars and restaurants .. little bit small place for a breakfast .. in general it is a good hotel
