    They tried to scam me. Multiple times. Brings shame on our people and Turkish hospitality.

    PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK: I never leave reviews, I simply just move on frombad experiences however this hotel here, I felt the need to alert others. While you get what you pay for in terms of general room standard you do not get anything else. You will have to purchase all necessities from toilet paper down to salt and oil, if you choose a non smoking room well it’s going to smell like cigarettes anyways, bed with stains, refrigeration barely works making the food go bad, hole in the bed frame. Now I’ve been many places and also many bad hotels so all those things do not ruin it for me - here is what triggers the reviews: the service and the feeling of being played a fool; it’s a hassle even to check in to the hotel they want you to sign all sorts of stuff and pay a deposit only in cash - fine. I had to stay in Istanbul longer and I thought I could make this easy by just going to the reception and asking for a longer stay (hotel was basically empty under my stay so I assumed no issue) - they start by saying well if I want to do that I need to pay double than what I paid online, and on top of that an extra fee for paying with card. They wanted to take my card and asked for my pin I told them to get real, I said forget about this I will just book online again, they then told me: hotel is fully booked so only the upgraded rooms were available 🙄 atp I want to leave but I have just invested in everything from dishwasher pads to kitchen supplies so I ask them what upgraded rooms, they told me the difference and I said okay - so I went to my room and booked a new stay in the upgraded room - then they call from reception and tell me well for some reason that website cannot charge my card (worked fine first time around) so I go down to reception again and pay the amount on their machine + extra fee to pay on their machine 🙄 then I am asked to move all my stuff to the new room (to be fair they asked if they should help, I said no do not touch my stuff) - well turns out the new upgraded room is the same exact room just one floor down, literally the same just with more cigarette smell and worse refrigeration. I accept my defeat and go about my trip, now because of some teeth problems I had to stay 4 more days, so a second extend, this time I ask my Turkish mother to call them so there would be hopefully no problems with understanding I do not like scammers. Well turns out it made no difference, Turkish or English, they tried the same trick -> to force me to upgrade with double the price on what their online booking says, and if I wanted to stay in the same room they wanted me to pay on their machine again double price + surcharge for card payment. I asked them politely to stop trying this scam and they said they could no do anything, I then told them I would leave the hotel and they wrote me: “🙏🙏”. This and a lot of painkillers made me motivated enough to leave despite my teeth pain, and look back at this as the top worst hotel experiences. Please save yourself the trouble of this hotel. They bring shame on Turkish hospitality.

    Quiet and clean for family trips

    The beds were extrmeley clean as well as rooms also the staff were very polite and they got 247 reseption with a fully stuffed gym.Price was ok for such clean and quiet rooms.It is near nişantaşi and beşiktaşi.Also 10min walking time from here to metro.

    Resepsiyondaki genç adam 100$ depozitomu geri vermedi, paramı başka bir kıza verdiğini söyledi Young guy from reception didn’t give my deposit of 100$ back he said that he gave my money to other girl. Why he gave my money to another person? He didn’t even say her name just to keep my money for himself .

    That was the most awful place that I have ever seen in my life . I advise nobody to go there. Although the staff were friendly, the place is located in a very narrow place near Nişantaşı. The furniture was dirty and full of cigarette burns and the balcony has no chairs! Nobody will tell you that you will pay for everything literally in the room including detergents, coffe , tea etc. I could not stay for 30 minutes I left and it was non refundable

    It was the worst hostel I've ever stayed in! (Don't be fooled by the fact that they advertise as residences) Employees have no idea or education about tourism and customer relations. Even though I made a reservation for 5 people but there was only 3 bedding set ,I asked the receptionist (Mr. Musa) at 2 am to complete the missing bedding set in the room where only 3 bed sets were left at night, and the answer I got was 'I can't give you this before 8 am, because this is not my duty'! I still don't understand why I would need the bedding set after 8am. Although I insisted that he could help me in this matter, he claimed that it was not his duty. (Camera recording is available) The same person (Mr Musa) was doing the same rudeness during the morning check-out, insisting on not opening the car park door, causing us to miss the plane. I can inform you about all this in more detail if the authorized person contacts me. I think this is really embarrassing on behalf of Turkey and should definitely be inspected by the tourism ministry. (BTW they charged 300 lira per day for parking which they don't inform you about)
