    The rooms look fantastic on their website, but in real life they’re rather plain. That said, rooms are very spacious and perfectly comfortable, although simply furnished. The building itself is interesting, apparently a former school for Italian workers. The website states that “we stand out by the fact that the majority of our employees are women”. If this is correct, the female employees are kept well hidden. The (male) receptionists, however, were all very helpful, The location is excellent – an easy walk to buses and metro stations, and not too far from the Taksim stop for the airport shuttle. Breakfast isn’t available in the hotel, but in the building there’s an excellent Lebanese restaurant and a nice bar.

    The restaurant and bar in the building were a highlight - great people, food and drinks! Comfortable bed and spacious room in a very beautiful building. Great location.There was nobody at reception when we got to the hotel - we waited 20 minutes for somebody to arrive at the front desk so we could check in.

    Lovely old building, clean room, very helpful staff. They were good with local recommendations. Great option in a cool neighbourhood in Istanbul. Great location. It is in a central location such that it is near to many attractions (Istiklal Street, Galata Tower, Galataport, Taksim Square) in multiple directions.

    We stayed for a week in room 11, in late October 2023. The front desk staff are exceptional hosts and remain easily accessible via text the whole day and night. Specially, Berkay is very helpful and very friendly. The location of the hotel is great and you have access to variety of destinations through Tophane station (which you can access via 7min walk). And of course you are in the middle of Istiklal street with lots of malls and restaurants. The hotel itself has an impressive design and the rooms will surprise you pleasantly. Everything is so neat, clean and cozy. And also the location is safe throughout the night.

    Upon entering, the impressive building design immediately charmed us with its European ambiance. The rooms pleasantly surprised us with their spaciousness and well-thought-out features. The friendly and attentive staff truly made our stay special by ensuring all our needs were met. Moreover, we felt secure throughout our stay. The location was ideal, close to charming cafes, lively bars, delightful restaurants, and famous attractions such as the Galata Tower and Taksim Square.
