  Close to tram, easy transport including access to ferries, walking distance to Dolmabache, 5 stations to Sultanamet by tram, closer to spices bazaar, helpful staffs, no English channel on TV, wifi connection is good. Microwave, cooker, and kettle are provided incl kitchenwares.

  In the low season, bang for the buck very good value.Big spatious rooms, great bathroom.Internet is fast but limited to only 2 devices which is in reality only ONE device since everytime i logged in it said that i am blocked because my husband's cellphone was on the network.We addressed this with the staff and both times they were fast and courteous to change our password twice. However it blocked again and again and again. I got sick and tired of going down for this since my gmail app on my phone is preset and didn'tcheck my emails for 3 days which resulted in me missing work emails of various importance.Now the mattress was at the end of this lifecyle and the mattress shabby and missing parts of fabric.In summary very professional staff however email was a sour surprise especially in a city where email access is subpar with its european counterparts. You expect to get decent connection at least in your hotel homebase.

  Clean, spacey, good value, nice position near Taksim and tram line.

  Our room or rather miniapart was clean, with sufficient space for 3 (a approx. 16 m2 bedroom for 2, plus a slightly smaller hall with a couch, plus a smallish bathroom with a quite confortable and modern shower). Windows are present only in the bedroom. They show the building in front (no Bosphorus view, unfortunately, possibly at a higher floor). A lot of lights everywhere, with separate switches. Rapid elevator (we were at 3rd floor/6).The position is quite convenient, as it is close to Taksim (10 min uphill) and the tram line (6 min downhill) to Sultanhamet. Several shops and good bars are located nearby.The staff is kind and effective, especially Recep. Occasional minor problems (a locked door) were fixed rapidly.The wifi signal is remarkably strong and reliable. We had 2 minor problems with the wifi: (1) our access code expired ahead of our departure: we simply had to go down the reception and generate a new one; (2) the wifi code was valid for 2 devices only, but we were 3 and occasionally would have liked to connect 3 devices at the same time.

  This spacious apartment with kitchenette and balcony was SO good. A home away from home, very quiet. A little community area with Ulgar Sofrasi cafe so close and fruit shop and deli around corner and a steep climb up to Taksim Square, made it a great spot - such good value.

  Wonderful stay at central location in Istanbul

  We had a wonderful stay at Collage Chiangir Apart. In every regards it was beyond expectations - the apartments are located central to “everything” – 3 mins walk uphill and you are at Taksim shopping/restaurant street - 4 mins walk downhill and you are at the seaside port were you can take local metro to Sultanahmet (10 mins ride) to see beautiful mosques, the Grand Basar and experience the old town with its many shops and restaurants. We booked the “one bedroom apartment” for our stay, and it was just as the photos on websites – comfortable seating area, a kitchen with the basics to cook light meals and breakfasts, TVs mounted on wall (hdmi/vga flatscreen), a spacious modern bathroom. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Cleaning of room done every 2nd or 3rd day – or something like that. More than enough for an apartment sort of stay. A big thanks to Mr Yavuz for excellent service prior to us coming there. The local area around the hotel is a “back alley” sort of feel. With local shops, cafés, restaurants etc situated nearby. It can be a little bit difficult to find the hotel first time, since it’s a short walk downhill off the “main streets”. A quiet area with no noisy bars or clubs nearby. Just short walk uphill and you are right back in the “action” of city life with the busy street life. All in all both Istanbul and Collage Chiangir Apart comes highly recommended. We loved the say from start to end. We’ll definitively come stay there again.
