With its outstanding location, this hotel is within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topkapi Palace (all 10 minutes' walk) and the Dolmabahçe Palace is a 20-minute walk away. Guests will find restaurants and shops just 3 minutes' walk away and the tramway passes right in front of the hotel, giving guests easy access to the main attractions. It is 15 minutes on public transport to the nearest nightspots and bars in Taksim and Taksim Square and the convention centres are just 5 km from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 1918. 265 non-smoking rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by 4 lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     The cleanliness of the hotel is very good. Large and varied breakfast buffet spread. The staff are very friendly. Special mention of Ms. Dilek & Mr. Haşim at Reception.Location is great - near a tram station.All in all a wonderful place to stay!     Lack lustre in every respect. Although location is nice and convenient, I was really disappointed with my choice, as CP and IHG usually deliver a high quality product. Nil recognition of loyalty to brand and the worst lounge experience ever (do not waste your money as it’s an uninviting dark cavernous cupboard without ambience) and the unfortunate experience of having to repeat simple requests, without action. Hot water was absent in the bathroom (reported that 3 times and then gave up). The breakfast staff were really nice, service-oriented and reception generally indicated they intended to assist, but there was a lot lost in translation. Zin was delightful in her service and deserves recognition for trying to keep the standard alive. Overall, it was my choice but a very regretful one to choose this one. Money wasted.     Great location easy to get to from the airport. Walkable to all of the local sights.Wide variety of food available at breakfast.     Amazing Stay , I work for Ihg myself and was impressed by the service and the reception team . Was in room 1219 and it was amazing hope on my return in june will have same room .
