    Lovely decor but lacks storage for clothing

    The hotel is close to the old quarter. The décor is lovely and the lift works well.The room was a bit small with a tiny wardrobe and 3 coat hangers. There was no room to store clothing as the drawers were tiny so clothing had to be kept in the suitcase.Good restaurant on the top floor with views over the mosques.

    We concur with prior positive reviews as of this writing, April 2026. We add: The location is ideal for exploring Istanbul by foot or tram; the tram stop is a short walk way as are major attractions in Sultanahmet. The location/rooms are quiet, and views are spectacular. Breakfast/staff were great. The price point is competitive. The hotel is Rick Steves-endorsed; do read the review/advice in his book before booking. Like for most hotels in Istanbul, car/van transportation can be challenging due to traffic; if you choose this mode of transport, leave yourself plenty of extra time.

    The hotel deco is dated but it's a fantastic location to see everything right on the door step .Towels changed daily rooms spotless clean bit dark but good sleep bed comfy and pillows .Breakfast hot /cold guys couldn't do enough for me .Had trouble with safe as soon as I arrived was sorted straight away .I would deffo stay here again .also guys on reception very helpfully not forgetting the view frm restaurant breathtaking 🥰

    Not so DELUXE experience if you forget something on weekends ( and a RUDE RECEPTIONIST)

    During my stay for a business trip last week, i forgot an item. I went to collect it the day after my check out, the receptionist told me that it was found, but the "lost&found" locker was locked and the keys were with the manager who wasn't working that day! I tried to explain nicely to the receptionist that my flight was taking off in two hours and he started lecturing me, in a very rude way, about how i should've come yesterday!! While i tried to explain to the rude receptionist that forgotten items must be available 24/7, he violently pulled out a piece of paper, in my hand, while i was trying to write my whatsupp number!! The receptionist was extremely rude and almost violent!! How can this happen in a touristic hotel?? in a touristic country? How can a receptionist behave this way?? What would've happened if i claimed to my right to get back my item?? I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the receptionist that they have, and for the "come tomorrow to retrieve your forgotten item", eventhough they have a nice cleaning personnel.

    Friendly staff, really nice roof top restaurant for dinner with lovely views. Very clean hotel and rooms clean. As a British person i would say my review is subjective but here goes…Dinner was lovely but the hotel doesnt serve alcohol and a glass of wine 🍷 would have been enhanced the experience and made for a romantic meal. The breakfast again same restaurant was very clean but the breakfast offer could be adapted if they are to attract more british people ( we were in a minority so again this could be subjective) there was a good selection of breads on offer but no toaster and whilst i asked if i could have a slice of toast or a croissant 🥐 i was told very politely no it was not possible. Whilst our fellow guests were happy to tuck into piles and piles of lettuce 🥬, sliced tomatoes , olives , hard boiled and fried eggs with frankfurter sausages , melon cubes and apples 🍏 i would have delighted in a banana and a slice of toast or toast and marmalade. A glass of FRESH orange juice would have been a treat . There was a large selection of very light cakes and sweet rice puddings . So as i say its probably a cultural thing. Staff very polite and helpful . Would return but would go out for breakfast
