    The photos speak for themselves. It's sad that a house like this can call itself a hotel. Unfortunately, it is more likely to be harmful and dirty. Originally submitted in German on www.tripadvisor.de. View originals.

    Even a lot of dirty hotels and a lot of Chechens and Russians, this hotel is full of Turks, but you can stay on the street without paying a fee. Originally submitted in Turkish on www.tripadvisor.com.tr. View originals.

    Typical Laleli accommodation and a pretty basic one. Stayed as part of an organized tour, didn't choose the hotel myself. My room was clean and roomy enough, weird bathroom though. Many shops and dining options in the neighborhood. Walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Laleli mosque, Istanbul university, Egyptian Bazaar, Topkapi palace, Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Adequate breakfast, great view from the rooftop restaurant. For budget travellers only.

    not a good location / avoid the old man at front desk

    I checked in and had only USD, the old man at front desk says he only takes Euro or TL, I gave him 100 USD deposit till I settle the payment in TL in 2hrs after checking in. he gave me the total in TL and when I brought the money he said, he want the payment settled in USD. I told him you said TL or Euro, if you accept USD why you didn't take it at check in?!! after a short argument he accepted TL but he asked for 50 TL more. he said the rate changed because the Dollar rate got higher then the morning. this was a shock. I didn't want to argue with him any more so I only give him what he asked for at check in and asked for check out if still wants the plus 50 TL. The room was decent, the hot water takes time to run, and some day works after 6pm. but I avoid to contact with him even morning greeting.Breakfast was okay
