    Relaxing Stay with Stunning Views and Excellent Pools in Moda

    We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul - Moda for 3 nights as a family and it quickly became one of our favorite DoubleTree properties. The rooftop and indoor pools were a highlight, we kept returning after sightseeing days just to relax and enjoy them. Our room offered beautiful views of the Sea of Marmara and the charming Moda neighborhood.The location, though a scenic ferry ride away from central Istanbul, felt special and authentic, surrounded by local restaurants and shops where we enjoyed dining each evening. The rooms were slightly dated compared to some newer hotels in the city, but they were well maintained and still comfortable. What really stood out was the warm staff, the incredible views, and the overall atmosphere that made the stay memorable.Overall, a great mix of relaxation, local charm, and standout amenities.

    Gorgeous entrance area but rest is pretty ghetto. As basic as a motel, honestly. Breakfast has a large spread but still seems like minimal options. Only two things to eat if you are vegan or vegetarian. Only stayed here in order to experience the Asia side of Istanbul - only need 1 day and 1 night for that. Stay on opposite side of Istanbul (Galata) for rest of stay. After experiencing Grand Bazaar area, it was quite nice to be in this quiet area. I had a great view of the Bosphorus.

    Nice view and great hotel breakfast. The energy saving options (or whatever they use) means that the air conditioning does not work properly overnight. Temperatures easily reach 22-24 C overnight. You cannot sleep at this level. The team there did not seem to be able to get a grasp on this. Until this issue is resolved, I would avoid this place completely. You will not be able to get a proper nights rest.

    Had probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Firstly my belongings got stolen and the way the hotel tried to manage the situation was to brush it off, secondly the service I received from the substandard room service and restaurant was appalling every time I ordered something there was something missing or forgotten and then the final straw was this morning during my checkout where the gentleman at the desk didn’t know what he was doing and couldn’t return back my deposit so I left having paid almost double for my room in the end still waiting for the deposit that was meant to be returned. I highly suggest you consider another hotel if you are considering this one on your next trip.
