    Very nice hotel. With an unbeatable location. Very comfortable rooms with everything you need for a long or short stay. Breakfast very complete and varied. All the staff is attentive and tries to solve the guest's concerns. Close to the Marmaray station to cross to the Asian side, tram stations, restaurants, cafes, historical places, Sultanahmet square with all its contained and Grand Bazaar, Eminönü port, etc. Maybe in common areas you need a little maintenance, but nothing important.

    The people of the hotel were really nice and friendly. They helped us with everything. I totally recommend it.Good breakfast, good Wi-Fi. The bed was very comfortable and it had air-conditioned. Furthermore it was very cheap.They also have a cheap airport shuttle.

    This is a late review as I was busy with moving to a new home, but I must put this review of the experience we had in Istanbul last July on the 25th, we had booked online to this nice and descent looking hotel . we just spent 11 fabulous night in Oludeniz and our next vacation was in Istanbul .As the taxi drove us to the hotel, it went past the Bosphorus Old Hotel, I said to the driver that he went past it, he said not this one , then at the end of the road he turns into a alleyway and stops ? Got a shock just by looking at it, anyway since its to late and specially with the whole family and its pick time of the year it would be impossible to get a new hotel, went in the whole hotel was completely run down an urgently need improvement, the staffs were very polite went to our bedroom so far it will do .The rep mentioned that there is no restaurant on the premises but they are connected with a restaurant next door which was very good , the room service guy took us later there across the waste ground also a flea bitten place as we were new we stayed the food was very bad an very expensive more than a 4 or 5 star hotel costed me 485 lira for 2 adult an 4 young children.In the middle of the night I got up to go to the bathroom , still half a sleep went in guess what ??? The whole bathroom was flooded that's on the second floor, the water came up the drain an into the bathroom, the rep came with bucket an towels and after an hour cleaned it up, again it start in the morning, told the manager to change the room , but unfortunately they only got 1 single room left , was very angry an annoyed.My advise stay away from this hotel it's misleading with the name as Bosphorus Old city hotel is a very good hotel next door and I think they are using that name to catch the clients
