    Unsafe hotel, racist staff

    Simply horrible and racist staff. I was with my Muslim family of 15 ppl in the gym and because of 1 noise complaint the guest relations manager came to us in seconds. Minutes later someone in the gym physically violated me by pushing me, happy with a Muslim conservative family working out. It took them an hour to respond to the complaint conveniently waiting for him to leave until they are “free to look into it” and “the manager is not reachable”Also, the bathrooms smelled bad, and the AC was not working for a full night despite multiple complaints in over 7 rooms.Unfortunately one of the worst experiences of any hotel in our lives. And the management of Elite should look into the racism they have with this hotel staff

    Satisfied with our stay at Elite Grand World Basin Ekspres

    Dear Elite Grand World Basin Ekspres,Me and my wife have enjoyed our stay very well. The hotel looks amazing from the outside as well from the inside. During our stay the hotel changed to feel like a new home to us.The rooms were cleaned daily and in case of any questions the reception was always ready to help us and communicate in English.The view from our room to the outside was beautifull we could look over the highway and over the city of Istanbul over the night.The breakfast has a lot of options and the food was tasty. The swimming pool has a good temperature and the jaccuzi was well heated. They had alot of extras like a hairdresser and options to wash the clothes.As we had a rental car we were able to travel easy from location to location but in any other case there would be taxis available at all the time. At this location we have always found a parking during our stay and it was easy to move around as it was connected close to the highway.The guest relations employee named Isci helped us very well to make ur stay more valuable and keep us satisfied with our stay at Elite Grand World Basin Ekspres.We would recommend this place to anyone reading this review as well as anyone asking us any recommendations in Istanboel.     We stayed at the hotel for 5 days, and during our stay, they had some very loud maintenance work ongoing on the floor above us. The food in the hotel is pricey and of very low quality. For example, I ordered a hamburger, and the meat was of very low quality, burned on one side. With 14 pieces of French fries, I counted them.     I would like to share feedback about my recent stay.First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the Guest Relations team, especially Ms. Ilayda and Ms. Bahar at the reception. They were extremely welcoming, professional, and always smiling. They made us feel comfortable from the first moment, were very patient in explaining everything, and were always available to assist us whenever needed. Their attitude truly reflects the spirit of hospitality.Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience with the evening team. Their behavior was not in line with hospitality standards. We faced an issue regarding the total payment due to a check-in mistake made by one staff member, who checked in our entire group incorrectly. Instead of explaining the situation or informing us properly, our rooms were blocked without any prior notice.The difference was only 1,600 TRY, while we had already paid 22,000 TRY. In my understanding of hospitality, especially considering that our company booked around 150 rooms, this situation should have been handled with communication and professionalism rather than such an action.Overall, the hotel itself is comfortable and good. However, the quality of service strongly depends on the people representing it. I truly believe the hotel would benefit from having more staff members with the professionalism, attitude, and hospitality shown by Ms. Bahar and Ms. Ilayda.
