Location

This hotel is located in Taksim, the new city, in the middle of Istanbul, the meeting point of Asia and Europe. Facility

245 non-smoking rooms are located on 17 storeys and can be reached by 3 lifts. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals.     Weak, outdated, and staffed by irresponsible employees with poor English skills. The heating consists of an unusable electric radiator. This is barely a three-star hotel charging five-star prices.

    This hotel has seen better days ,it's very tied ,old and small rooms ,not cleaned properly ,noisey ,rooms were so hot , windows open slightly then you get the street noise and doof doof Caters primarily for large Bus tours so little interest by staff in helping individuals,buffet breakfast very ordinary This is not a 5 star by any stretch of the imagination I can go on about the broken toilet seat plumbing noise from other rooms,thread bare towels and well worn out sheets etc There are much better options and value in Istanbul I don't recommend this hotel at all Elite World Istanbul Taksim, Müşteri Hizmetleri / Ön Büro at Elite World Istanbul Taksim Hotel, responded to this review Dear James, Thank you very much for choosing Elite World Istanbul Taksim Hotel and sharing your valuable comments with us.     Great location, clean and very friendly staff

    It was a really lovely stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Aziz who felt like a family member more than a staff member. Thanks also to Elif and Meryem at reception, the lovely lady supervisor who checked in every morning at breakfast to check if we had any comments or were enjoying our stay and the helpful house keeping staff. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh, the hotel was clean and very well located, a few minutes walk feom Taksim Square and the metro station, as well as having a lot of other public transport connections and a variety of buses to catch. The hotel was located within a few roads that had limited car traffic and were surrounded by security and police at all hours so it felt safe even when walking home at midnight. Would definitely come back.     I was very pleased with my visit to this hotel. I would like to thank the reception for the warm welcome from the moment I arrived. Super service. Lovely reception and team. Everyone was smiling. The hotel was very beautiful, I liked it very much. It was a modern and well-maintained hotel. My room was quiet, comfortable, clean, spacious and tidy. The housekeeping team works very hygienically. The bathroom was very clean. There is air conditioning in every room. The internet is very fast. The breakfast was very delicious. The staff working in the restaurant were very hospitable, fast and excellent at their jobs. The hotel has a spa. I liked the pool, sauna and gym. I would like to thank all the staff and management.     This was a very disappointing experience and fell far below our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the entrance were unwelcoming and lacked any sense of hospitality.Our only expectation for this 3-day getaway was a clean room and a comfortable stay, but unfortunately, the hotel failed in the most basic areas. Despite leaving the 'Please Clean' sign on our door the first day, we returned to find the room practically untouched. Only the trash was taken out—the floors were not cleaned, and even the empty hand soap was never refilled. The housekeeping service was a complete failure.To make matters worse, the room was freezing. We explicitly informed the staff that it was too cold to sleep, yet no action was taken and no solution was offered. If you are looking for hygiene, warmth, and professional service, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone."
