    Loved the Front Desk and the Staff

    Loved the front desk staff but the room I had was like a closet. Did have a window balcony of sorts that gave me a great view of the street below. Sultanamhet is a somewhat grim neighbourhood because the tourists attract the worst sort of exploitations. I mean it’s not that bad but compared to Kadikoy on the Asian side it’s grim. I am being picky. I love İstanbul and the Turks. If you want to see the main tourist attractions this hotel is a ten minute walk away from them.

    Well first the best of all the stuff were amazing!!! Mohammed the reception guy was the best he really did help us in all ways he can. Surly if I visited sultan ahmed again which ofcourse I will, Surly it will be in sultan ahmed hotel.

    Me and my wife stayed here for two nights and the hotel looks very shabby and not like the advertised pictures. The location was very good but the first room we were given had one door on the shower and the waste pipe was not connected. The room was very unclean. Television didn’t work. We asked to move but was told that we couldn’t. After moaning further we were put into another room the following day which had two doors on the shower but had damp up the walls, mould on the ceiling, the towel rail fell off the wall and the shower head looked like it had never been cleaned. The wallpaper was coming off the walls which was damp. There was a mini fridge but with nothing that resembles a mini bar. The WiFi only worked in the reception area. Very disappointed. The hotel needs to clean their act up. Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. There is so many good hotels around the area but this is not one of them.

    The location was good, but that's all. The rooms are really small, the breakfast was the only one I had in Turkey that I did not like and the most important - the hotel claimed they have a private parking but they do not! There are nicer places nearby in the block with similar prices

    I am from Afghanistan and I stayed in this hotel during my visit of Istanbul in October 2017. What I loved the most about hotel is the supportive and professional behavior of the hotel staff. They provide you enough guidance on different inquiries and they have a fast approach to your requests during your stay. The rooms are enough clean and is the interior design is attractive. This hotel is a great option if you plan to stay in Fatih Sultanahmet during your visit of Istanbul based on its close location to the tram station and to Grand bazaar.
