Adequate but could be a lot better.

    rating11 Aug 2023

The hotel itself was in a decent location as it was near shops and transport links. The area was very busy and loud day and night. Do not sleep here if you are a light sleeper as sounds penetrate the walls and Turkish people will honk their horns for pleasure. The whole building needs to be renovated. Wallpaper was peeling off and many items of furniture were broken. My mother had to yank the wardrobe door from side to side every time we needed something. I lacked the strength. In our room we had barely any space to put things. Some hooks would be nice to put your clothes up. The bathroom had no window and was not ventilated so smells would remain for a long time. My brother has IBS so this was not pleasant. The room was not cleaned properly. The carpet was not hoovered. Only minimal cleaning was carried out before our arrival (the sheets were changed and bathroom lightly cleaned). Only the bins were changed during our stay. Sheets had old stains that didn't come off in the wash which was a little off-putting. The breakfast was a plate of pre prepared items which included a boiled egg, 3 slices of cheeses, jam, honey/nutella, 4 cucumber slices, 4 tomato slices, exactly 4 olives and as much tea and bread as you want. It was adequate but nothing like the pictures suggest. Staff were ok. The waiter at breakfast and the man at reception were nice. The rest just get on with their jobs and ignore you which is fine. Some positives were that the AC worked and they had decent WiFi. My brother also loved the bidet and spent way to long enjoying that every morning.

    Cheap but not good

In general, with this price, you can't expect better than this, the location of the hotel is very good in terms of proximity to the metro and bus station and tourist attractions, although it is an almost dangerous neighborhood and you should not stay on the street until late at night. The hotel staff are friendly, but the quality of the rooms and bathrooms are very bad and the rooms are very smal

    Not great

    rating13 Feb 2020

My family and I were promised rooms next to each other on the same floor, but we were placed on completely separate floors. We arrived at night and were placed in temporary rooms which were not nice at all, and some of us were never moved. The bathroom had a hole in the ceiling, wires were sticking out everywhere, we had no light, just two dim lamps and paint was peeling off the walls. The bedsheets were dirty and never changed(only flipped to the other side to hide the dirt) Not a child friendly place either, no capacity for cots and tiny rooms leaves no space to move. Tiny bathrooms as well with oversized taps on the sink which is not practical. Breakfast is just salads and boiled egg so not worth it either. Rooftop bar is permanently closed. The restaurant only serves breakfast and no other meals. It is not at all as it looks in the pictures. Everything has been stretched to look bigger when in reality the rooms, lobby and restaurant are very small. Would not recommend.

If you are looking for something practical,I suggest you this place. It's clean and the staff are nice and smiling.Very near from aksaray tram station, restaurants , and shop boutiques. But ,there is some noise and crowdedness. Also bad smelling in some rooms coming from outside.

    Not that great, but fine

    rating07 Dec 2018

Hotel staff doesn't speak English. Everything is much smaller than it looks on the pictures. It's really tiny! Breakfast is not that great, because there are no many foods to choose from. Rooftop terrace is not working. Wifi is not that good, sometimes it doesn't work at all. Rooms are cleaned daily! There are some things they should renovate (you'll see on the pictures). Location is great!
