Location

The hotel is located on the historic peninsula of Eminönü, close to the city wall and Topkapi Palace. Galata Bridge is only 500 m from the hotel and Eminönü ferry port with boats to the Asian side of the city is just a 4- to 5-minute walk away. Various restaurants are in the immediate proximity of the hotel, which is about 3 minutes’ walk from shopping venues, 200 m from links to the local public transport network and the sea and around 5 min from a selection of bars. Nightspots are to be found some 3 km away.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1904. The hotel has 3 suites, 2 apartments, 4 single rooms and 14 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park.     This place is absolute trash. Save yourself and DO NOT book here. Whatever price you book for, when you get there, they make you pay double saying that you’re lying about the price you saw online. The bathrooms are extremely moldy and the room is SO small. The ac was broken and it’s summer and they kept saying that the technician would come. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen and worst customer service. There’s so many nicer hotels for cheaper or just a couple dollars more. 0/10 stars. Scammers.

    The location of the hotel is the main advantage... We had a good experience with the staff, everything was good, just to mention that the head waiter/restaurant manager Salih-bey is very kind and professional. The room was small and neglected, but for the price we got it was a fair offer. With a better maintenance and cleaning service, the final impression would be better.

    If there was a negative rating, I would definitely give one. Don't waste your money. This place is a dump. It is old, rundown, moldy, musty, and the rooms are so small you cannot even open your luggage. We booked for 4 nights and left after 2 (I don't know how we survived!). The beds are thin and rock hard, you can feel coils in your back. The mattresses are disgusting. There are no fitted sheets so the sheets come off the bed when you sleep. The bathrooms are tiny with black mold and showers that do not work. The water smells like rotting potatoes or sulfur. We had towels that were stained with orange dots. During our 2 night stay, the curtains fell off the wall, the toilet flush fell off the wall, the tap on the sink almost came out, the toilet clogged, we got locked out of our room many times as the lock didn't work. There was never anyone at reception, and when we tried to reach the owner to complain, he was never around. Save your money. This place is a garbage dump.

    This hotel is a scam; I was given a tiny room, no water, hot or cold, no AC, no lamps.There is no staff to be able to communicate with, the manager does not speak English and he is not able to help . I booked for 5 nights through Booking.com, I left after one night, there was still not a drop of water; they were supposed to give me a credit for 4 nights, but so far they are not answering and no credit seems to be granted.

    The rooms were so small that it could not fit in our luggage. It would be OK for a backpacker. They did offer another room in an adjacent building much bigger but the toilet and shower cubicle leaked onto the floor and room service was very poor. The breakfast was fine but beware on what is included and what is not. The menu does not make this clear.
