Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 4-storey building with a lift and 23 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     The location is really useful regardless of whether you arrive by car or train (direct trains from Schiphol) I have done both on many various occasions, this time was by car. The Hotel is easy to find and a 5 minute walk into the old town centre.Car park is gated by very secure electronic gates.Staff are very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is exceptionally clean, including the car park, which is always a good sign.Breakfast is good, although nearly 30 Euros a head it needs to be. Huge choice of continental from the buffet, a limited hot, which is fine as the continental is more than adequate.Coffee good and on tap.Rooms are a good size, had a lovely room overlooking the canal, Pete's windmill and the church.All in all this is a great place to stay.

    The hotel is easy to find and offers secure parking. Good smooth check in. The room was a good size however has no air con and there were no fans available. The bed was quite soft for me so a bit uncomfortable and the cleaning staff didn’t actually make the beds each day, simply tucked in the duvet. The room needed a bit of tlc - scuff marks on the walls and chunks missing out of the furniture. There is a coffee machine which is a nice touch and the WiFi was good. There are also lots of sockets which is also good. There is a safe but it was on the floor so we had to nearly lie down on the floor to use it! The bathroom is a good size but again tlc is needed. There was a very large crack in the sink, the plug didn’t work and there was a chunk missing from the door. Towels not huge but there were plenty supplied, and toiletries apart from body lotion. The hairdryer in the bathroom was useless - no power to it and no heat. There is a bar and the first night the girl really didn’t seem to know what she was doing but the staff were good on other nights.
