  Lovely and clean, modern but characterful little place in a quiet back street whilst being close to the river, public transport and bustling old town. Walking distance to everything you need and a great base to explore the city. Friendly and informative staff; we loved it here!

  Excellent Hotel with very friendly staff. Room was very clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. Very easy to get to and you can pay a small amount to have breakfast on the Terrace of the Sister Hotel behind. Highly recommended

  We booked Ferman Konak but they are a total scam. The pictures they show does not reflect how the hotel looks. When you enter it, it is a tight street all full or garbage and construction stuff. Staircase is horrible and makes so much noise the whole hotel can hear u walk and hallways and rooms are claustrophobic. All that triggered my mother’s asthma as we entered the hotel. We stabilized her and then told the front desk that we only want to stay for few hours untill morning as it was already 3.30 am. We initially booked 5 day stay but just wanted to stay one night for sake of my mother health. The staff agreed at night but when time came for check out the new front desk person became rude and then called manager who was further rude and abusive calling my mother liar and that we are faking situation. We could not stay there any moreWe used Expedia to make our new reservation at another hotel ( Elite world grand ) which is heaven compared to the hell we faced at ferman. When we tried to leave we asked for help to get our luggage downstairs as the stairs were so difficult and there are no elevators but they refused to do so and kept staring at us and at the end asked for the room keys which they were charging us for 5 days. We were literally scared to be at that place. I told the front desk that it was a horrible experience and he said you are right and shut the door Further more they had offered us for airport pickup with extra fee. We kept waiting for an hour then someone came picked us up. In middle of road stopped car and starting talking in Turkish with friends not explaining anything to us. Then we contacted hotel and they started making excuses- sometime saying that car broke another one is coming, sometimes saying we have too much luggage so we need to call another car when we were already sitting in one with all luggage settled in. After waiting for another hour on road, a car came that we transferred into who converted our 13 min ( 3 mile ) drive to 30 min ( 8 mile) drive.It was a horrible experience, I have fond memories of turkey excluding this hellish place and would warn others from booking and wasting money on this old home that is kind of converted into a hotel. Stay away from this scam. If i can I would not give it any stars as it does not deserve it and would advise people to stay a little further, there are train that can take you to historic locations in 25 mins and there are taxi's you can take as well. If u discuss with taxi's before hand and communicate through what's app they can drop and pick u up as well. Stop wasting your money staying close to historic location in these God forsaken hotels paying extra for bad service.

  Absolutely terrible - railway line running behind- horrid smell from rooms- cracks in the bathroom door and lizard in bathroom. Never staying here again and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to. Close to main sights though but unbearable to be in.

  This boutique style hotel is a family feel establishment with basic amenities in the room. They are very welcoming and friendly with help yourself service to hot beverages in the dining area. Check-in was swift and informative. The reception staff, in particular Aamir, was very helpful and provided maps and hints/tips when to visit some of the places and how to deal with taxis and their extortionate fares. We had the family room where the WiFi was reliable in the room and had aircon. There is plenty of space within the room and Toiletteries in the bathroom. The hotel is ideally located close to the Blue Mosque and an ideal base to explore the city. I would recommend downloading Google Maps as the hotel is quite hidden and difficult to find for the first time.Overall, it was a pleasant experience from a reasonably priced hotel. I would consider it in the future. If you found this review useful, please give it a like.
