    Galata Times Hotel is a true boutique gem in the heart of the city. The rooms are spotlessly clean, brand-new, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom in particular delivers a genuinely luxury, premium hotel feel — the kind you don’t expect unless you’re paying much more.

    Very cozy hotel, in a beautiful, central, and convenient location (literally next to Sishane Metro station ), with excellent staff (reception, housekeeping, cafe & restaurant). So nice people all of them, always very polite and helpful I just felt like home.

    Best service ever. Comfortable room, breakfast buffet to die for. Rami at reception outstanding. Overall, a wonderful experience. Really well located hotel close to Galata Tower. Short stroll to ferry and across the Metro line. Highly recommended.

    I will write about my experiance trying to be fair and straight forword to the points, I stayed there for more than five days. Location: The location is the highlight of this hotel, within walking distance to Galata tower, that alot of tourist go to, also close to the İstiklal Avenue, you could also walk to the Galata port 14-15 min. During our stay we didn't use taxis at all. However, Istanbul has a lot of hills and the hotel is placed at the upper area. Service: The staff are very welcoming and kind, Resit the reception guy was nice and even offered us a second room due to bed configuration missundersanding. Raheem is another reception guy who was very talkative and gave us valuabe inforamtion about shops in istanbul, was avaibalbe to help in anything if we needed. Room: Room is clean and has nice furniture, size is small, however this is expected since Istanbul has bigger population and the hotel is placed at the heart of the city, most hotels would have small rooms. In addition, Keep in mind, each floor has four rooms only, if you are booking a room with balcony then it's a balcony with no view or sun as mentioned by other reviews. Sound isolation is medium. Breakfast: Breakfast was available from 8:00am to 10:30am and it is on the top floor which has a very nice view of Istanbul. Food was good, however they could have more options. The staff were very nice especially Simin who works there, was very kind and made our experience better. Reception-area: Hotel is small, and the reception area is very small as well. Taxi-service to the airport: Warning!!! do not book with the hotel the yellow taxi service. use online services instead - We booked the airport taxi from the hotel and we were promised a fixed price which we agreed upon, however when we got to the airport the taxi driver got greed and rasied the price. I had to argue and refuse mutiple time which was horrible experience. I don't think it's the hotel staff fault, I think the driver just got greed and thought he could get more money from us. This was not a good experiance since you might be trying to catch a flight and you wouldn't argue and pay the extra money, they don't take payment until you arrive at the aitport, which is done on purpose. I contacted the hotel and they apologised for this experanice and they promised to take actions against this. Conclusion, the hotel is nice in general, however I wish they were honest about the balecony as I wouldn't mind since the location was good. I would rather to book a room without a balocony but has a sun or light that enters the room, the room was advertised with a balcony which defentaly increases the price for no reason. Room size didn't matter that much since most of the time we were outside the hotel.

    The front desk personnel were fantastic from check in to check out. They went above and beyond. The location is in the heart of shopping and attractions. The suite was roomy and comfortable. We were very happy with our choice and we would stay there again
