    I was booked in to the Corner Garden hotel right next door to this place but was made to go in one of their rooms. The room was damp, mouldy, dusty and falling apart. My asthma was made worse because of this so I had to move out the next day. They refused to reply to Opodo who I had booked through and now state that 'hotel is non refundable' DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AS THE PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND NOT FIT FOR ANYONE TO STAY IN!!

    Very average hotel. The hosts were friendly and quite helpful. But the room was not as shown in the photos. We were put in the part of the hotel above the reception and not in the larger (and obviously nicer part). On arrival, in the early am, we were greeted and helped with our bags but instead of a twin room were given a double. We were told to make do for the night and that they would change it the next day. This is despite calling before the initial booking to ensure a twin room was available. The room was also quite a bit smaller than the photos advertised online. We were not moved to different room. The bed was simply split and a twin room made out of the room (this made it even smaller). Another problem was that we could not open the vents in the bathroom because had we done so, we would be looking into the next room! The noise also travelled through the thin walls and so we heard the various conversations of the other guests. The room was kept relatively clean but had some marks on the bedding. The stairs leading to the room were creaky and so we could hear people walking up them. Again, not a huge problem (as it was an old building) but something to be mindful of. Overall, it wasn’t a horrible stay, but would not be returning, especially for the fee they charge.

    Absolutely a well decorated hotel. I have stayed there only for a night -because of my business in beyoglu and mecidiyekoy- and the main reason for this accommodation choice was its location. You can reach karakoy or beyoglu or even taksim in 5 mins. But i cant say the location feels really safe and touristic. Only the hotel does. So it is better to choose up streets -beyoğlu or taksim- if you really care about this feeling. Staff was friendly. The room was well cleaned and room amenities were enough for a day. Thank you!

    I travel a fair bit for both work and pleasure and staying here was a real pleasure. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the centre but the hotel is set slightly away from the road and it was quiet and peaceful. I had a very comfortable room at the front that was well furnished with a great view. The service was very good and Nishet and his colleagues did everything they could to make the stay a good one. Some of his friends came over one evening and prepared a meal which was superb. I loved staying here, can very much recommend it and look forward to going back to Istanbul and staying here again.

    Me and my boyfriend spent 5 days in this hotel. And we really liked it. Location of the hotel is really great! Everything you need as a tourists is really close. All the sightseengs, transport, shops, cafe. Room was clean, bed was soooo soft and perfect;) Guys at the reception always were really nice and helpfull. its very good deal for this money. i suggest to everybody
