    I don’t recommend, mold on the wall, very poor conditions, apartment on the 2nd floor, the water pressure in the bathroom makes it impossible to wash yourself freely, terrible conditions in the bathroom, I apologize the host for writing this but this place is not suitable for guests.

    ♥Hotel Genius Hotel İstanbul: A Family-Friendly Haven in Istanbul♥Our family recently stayed at Hotel Genius for a week and had an absolutely wonderful experience. This family-owned hotel is a gem in the heart of Istanbul.The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and informative. Mr. Emin, Borah, Ali, Timur, and many others went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. My son was particularly fond of Mr. Timur, who was always there to offer recommendations, help with purchases, or simply chat. Timur is the man to contact with anything you might need, big or small. The hotel also has a beautiful gift shop next door. I highly recommend doing your gift shopping here rather than elsewhere. You'll find better quality and great customer service without feeling ganged up on (the Bazaars are beautiful, but very crowded, expensive, and low quality). I found some unique souvenirs that I couldn't find anywhere else and best of all, they can ship to your house if necessary. The hotel itself was clean, safe, and centrally located. It was within walking distance of many of Istanbul's most famous attractions, including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern, Gulhane Park, and the Bosphorus Strait. The hotel's convenient location made it easy for us to explore the city and experience its rich culture.One of the highlights of our stay was the rooftop restaurants recommended by the hotel staff. The views were stunning, and the food was delicious. We were lucky enough to witness the Blue Full Moon from one of these restaurants, creating a truly memorable experience.The hotel also made it easy to book tours and excursions. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, and we were able to see many of the city's top attractions with ease.We would highly recommend Hotel Genius to anyone visiting Istanbul, especially families. The friendly staff, convenient location, and comfortable accommodations make it the perfect place to stay.

    Very good location of the hotel. Near all attractions. The hotel is quite old, not the same as in the photo, but this did not bother us, since we are not picky tourists and walked all day. It was such that we came in the evening and there was no hot water in the shower, we turned to the reception, the water appeared in the shower only in the morning. But the worst thing that upset me was that when we were not in the room and I put up a do not disturb sign so that no one came in, the staff still went into our hotel room and took an extra bed. I was very outraged that while the Do Not Disturb sign was hanging, they still entered our room. No one thought to clean up, take out the trash ... but just went into the room on their own business! Otherwise, you can just spend the night at the hotel.

    Stayed for three nights in December 2022. Pros: price, location, great service. It is not 5 stars hotel. Instead, I felt like being a guest, which I value the most. They had time for me. I have been advised where to eat, how to get to places, logistic was arranged, bookings over the phone was done for me including hamam, late booking to a night club.Thank you very much to all staff.
