Location

The hotel is located in the centre of Sultanahmet, within walking distance of Sultanahmet Square, Topkapi Palace, the Grand Bazaar, the Hagia Sophia and many more historical monuments. 10 junior suites and 8 suites are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Big cheat. I booked according to trivago a 5 star hotel. With 8.5points This hotel is max 3 star. Bkf is very bad. You have to pay for croissant 2.5€ and eggs 3.5€ or more. Crazy experience. How can trivago value this hotel 5*. I lost a good mom with my wife and friends in such a bad way. Btw price is higher then a internazional hotel 4* at least. Crazy.Only staff at reception were kind. Trivago should rectify it.

    Booked this hotel and flights with Booking.Com as a package. (Flights were with Wizzair - I'd avoid this airline at all costs but that's another story!).The hotel is a small boutique hotel in an excellent position - just ten minutes walk from the Blue Mosque.The room was clean and functional, my only negative - there is not much rom to put your clothes - we ended up just living out of our bags,The staff were ALL very friendly and helpful. The guy who checked us in was friendly and efficient and took time to show us on a map where we were located in the city, pointed out various sights, gave us the wifi code and told us breakfast times.breakfast was nice and adequate. A selection of Turkish cheeses, bread, rolls meat fruit yoghurts and a hot selection of scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausages - and chips! Also preserves. We had an excellent breakfast every morning and it set us up for the day.The spa in the basement is basic - a gym, sauna (you need to give them 20 mins notice if you eat to use this as they need to switch it on,) also a Hamam/Turkish Bath. This was lovely and we used it a couple of times.There are a selection of teas and coffee in the room and also toiletries (Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash in the bathrooms.If I were to return to Istanbul, I'd definitely stay here again - unless I was splashing out - then Id opt for the Pera Palace.     A great hotel choice in a great location for exploring Istanbul

    The GLK Premier Home Suites and Spa hotel in Sultanhamet, Istanbul is a great choice for visitors to the city wishing to explore the Old Town.Located close to Hagia Sofia, and the Blue Mosque and Topeki Palace, these tourist venues are less than 5 minutes away on foot. Meanwhile, there are great local restaurants and bars on the doorstep of the hotel.Inside, the rooms are well appointed and comfortable, with working air conditioning, and our room had a balcony also.The staff are very friendly, and accommodating and offer a welcoming drink on arrival and conclusive information about what opportunities are available for learning more about this lovely city with its vibrant living history.The Spa facilities may be booked and used at no extra charge, and masseusse services if required can be booked through reception.I have no hesitation in offering the best of recommendations for this hotel and the staff that run it so well. thehomesuites, at GLK PREMIER The Home Suites & Spa, responded to this review Dear Guest, We would like to thank you on behalf of the hotel team for providing us with such a positive feedback.     The hotel is superbly located, 10 mins walk to Sultanahmet sq and the main attractions in one direction and 2 mins to the sea in the other. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful.     The location is superb - 10 min walk to main attractions and just far enough away for a little peace from the crowds.The rooms are spacious and clean standard tradition not business like rooms which we prefer. All the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. There is always someone around if you need them. Breakfast was lovely plenty of variety and all fresh. We found the hotel to be great value for for money.Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.
