This city hotel is located at the heart of Istanbul's old town, approximately 500 m from the Bosporus. Many of the top tourist sights including the large bazaar, St. Sophia, Topkapi palace and the Turkish art museum are all within walking distance. In addition, there is a tram station approximately 300 m from the hotel. Atatürk airport is some 20 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 35 rooms and suites. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     ProsThe location of the hotel is very good in the vicinity of major tourist attractions at the Europa side of the city. This location is packed with Turkish food, bars and restaurants. You will enjoy hotel's continental breakfast everyday and if you want to eat outside, there are a lot of places.ConsThe only thing that might trouble you is the narrow streets packed with people and cars. This is an ancient city and a gateway to Europe so you might feel a bit uncomfortable but the people here are very nice an hospitable.Oh by the way the amenities here are very good being basic.

    After a long day o walking we stopped for a drink at the outside terrace restaurant. We also ordered some food which was delicious and my meal of seasoned chicken could have served 2. Beyond the food and what made our lunch special, was our server who was so helpful and informative and introduced us to some Turkish apps we had never tried. We lingered after our meal and enjoyed the Turkish hospitality.

    We had a fantastic stay at Golden Crown Hotel. The location is perfect right in the heart of the old city within walking distance to Hagia Sophia Blue Mosque and Grand Bazar. The entire staff was kind and professional but I especially want to highlight Melisa at the front desk. She was extremely helpful throughout our visit. Her knowledge of the city transportation and local attractions was outstanding she gave us great tips and clear directions that made exploring Istanbul so much easier. On top of that she was always friendly patient and professional.Thanks to Melisa and the team, we felt very well taken care of!!! I would absolutely recommend Golden Crown Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and I will 100% be back

    My friends and I had a breakfast on rooftop, view is amazing, really authentic terrace with great vibe! Food was great and value for the money 1 breakfast serves definitely more than 3 people here! Highly recommended! Nur And Shabaz are so polite, kind and helpful with great attitude and smile all the time , Nur danced with me and I had great time at this place !
