  Dirty,old,horrible!

  Some of the receptionist dont speak English at all, so it is possible, that you dont get a room what you asked before. Breakfast is from 7am, but the scrambled egg is being processed at 8am, so we couldnt wait for it. The room is incredibly dirty. There are stains on the carpet, on the blanket, and on the towels. Actually there are holes on the towel.You dont get normal bed clothes, there is only a dirty blanket what you can use for sleeping. There was a broken cigarette under the bed, so its not sure, that the cleaning staff works very well. Only one phone can be charged between the two beds.When I made a complain, they didnt care, and I was told that these things are because they are full.Never go back again

  We were two adults and 3 children, I didn't expect one room to have 5 suitable beds like this, it was my choice and they met my expectations perfectly, the remaining area was very narrow, but I enjoyed my stay as I booked the hotel only for sleep & breakfast and I don't want more the hotel manager and the polite decent old man in the reception were very helpful and very professional in problem solving. Breakfast starts early but in some days I had to move earlier, I just informed them and the action was very surprising, I found the restaurant open for me only and the restaurant guys were very helpful and not annoyed to come earlier.The hotel location is in a special area in front of Grand bazaar and shopping area.I believe that the hotel classification is not just 3 or 4 or even 5 stars, the staff can turn any small hotel into 5 stars service hotel.Thanks a lot (Golden) staff

  Superb location, walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, Agia Sophia and Blue Mosque.Lovely small hotel, clean room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast buffet with a rooftop terrace. Staff very accommodating and helpful, whether we asked for ice cubes or sending a parcel per post to the Netherlands. It was all done with a smile.Can highly recommend this hotel for travellers who don't want to spend a fortune on a hotel and want to be in walking distance to all the landmarks and good restaurants.

  This hotel has a VERY convenient location for tourists. I have searched many hotels to find one like this. It's located near the Grand Bazaar and tram line T1, which brings you to most major attractions like the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Basilica Cistern, all the way up to the last stop: Kabatas, where the Ferry to Prince Island is and it's nearby Dolmabahçe Palace. The rooms (we booked 6 rooms) were all very clean, but the only thing we had to get used to was the water. It smelled and tasted awfull when we brushed our teeth with it.Breakfast is very good. Different kinds of bread, vegetables and fruit. Cooked egg and scambled, hams and juices/coffee. The terrace is very relaxing, especially in the mornings when the sun isn't so burning hot yet.Avoid their shuttle bus service though if you're with a group. We were with 15 persons and two times they arranged a bus for us which fits 13 persons. The solution: a cracked foldable plastic children's stool and the other person had to squeeze with the others on the couch. Not comfortable! Especially during our 3 HOUR!! way back towards the airport. (traffic jam)

  A good hotel vor good value

  Firstly the hotel is not like in the picture where it seems isolated , is between some buildings . Value is good. Very clean . The staff is helpful and even left us in the evening in the restaurant, which was normally closed , drink a glass of wine brought from outside the hotel . The elevator is small, slow and go after it 's only logical ... but it works ! Breakfast same every morning but good enough . Cheese , scrambled eggs , olives , honey , a delicious blend of spicy omelet with vegetables , figs , cucumbers, a very diluted juice and coffee category C. A problem I had with this hotel ( and I still have it after 2 days at check- out) is that my room rate charged on the card and after I paid cash the money is not refunded yet !! Can the bank 's fault ... I do not know . The most important aspect is that it is very close to the Bazaar and tram station . Also, that 's the Golden Horn (do not accommodated in other area !!)
