  Disappointing experience and lack of professionalism - not recommendedI stayed at the Good Night Hotel in Istanbul from 10/10 to 14/10, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. Despite informing the hotel of our late arrival around midnight, there was no one at the reception when we arrived. We waited anxiously, knocking everywhere, and after 10-15 minutes, a man finally showed up to give us the keys. The room was tiny, with the bed squeezed between three walls, leaving very little space to move. The bathroom was equally small and in poor condition: wrinkled bed sheets and towels of such poor quality they were more gray than white.The worst part came on the second night when we discovered the bathroom was infested with ants. After kindly reporting the issue, the hotel's solution was to simply clean the room superficially and carry out a fumigation, which would have been dangerous for us due to the chemicals. Despite our concerns, the ant problem remained unresolved, and we were even told there were no ants until we showed the receptionist the situation.The manager, instead of offering a proper solution, was rude and dismissive, claiming the hotel wasn’t a 5-star establishment and that ants weren’t dangerous, completely downplaying the issue. When we asked to change rooms or find another accommodation, we were met with aggression and were essentially told to leave if we didn’t like their solution.In the end, we decided to leave the hotel two days early, and only then were we magically offered another room, proving there was a solution from the start. To conclude, the manager tried to apologize, offering us a plate of fruit and repeatedly asking us not to write a review on Booking, even sending friends to persuade us.The area is full of hotels, so I highly recommend choosing a different one. This was one of the worst hotels we’ve stayed in worldwide, with poor hygiene and absolutely inadequate customer service. If I could give zero stars, I would.

  The hotel is very nice for its price. It is clean, unlike 5-star hotels. It offers friendliness and ease of transportation. I stayed with my family and I was very satisfied.An excellent hotel. I recommend it to everyone. friendly staff. It is a clean and very quiet hotel. Ease of transportation everywhere. and affordable price. I was very pleased

  This hotel is amazing in terms of location and the staff in how they hear and help you very accommodating Onur and Burhan also they speak good English. The hotel itself is clean but the rooms are small but have everything you need for your stay and considering how much they charge for the area there is no complaining plus for and extra 10 euros you can get a larger room with a balcony so options are there. There is no breakfast as hotel unable to cater for that due to size but has mini fridge and kettle in room provided so you can make you own tea plus loads of local shops around . If you come out of the hotel and turn right and go to the bottom of the road its a cheap area which has a supermarket and small shops and takeaways but if you do a right it takes you to the tram station and burnt column which is more expensive

  Very welcoming and friendly people. Manager there to welcome guests and very attentive to details. But the rooms are small and so is the bathroom. We were already used to this aspect from other accommodation in Istanbul and it didn't bother us. We were upgraded to a larger room with a balcony - view of the mosques and Bosphorus - gorgeous view. In terms of cleanliness, I think there could be improvements. The area is the best - you have quick access to most attractions and public transport that takes you to all parts of the city.

  Kindness of the staff, good situation in the Sultanahmet district, good quality-price and professionnalism, our holidays in this hotel was very good and we think already to came back with family and friends ! Thank you all, kind regards Foued & Manue
